What challenge were you trying to address with BDP International?

We needed help with warehouse management and stocking.

What was the scope of their involvement?

BDP International helps us manage our warehouses and inventory. They’re in charge of transporting our shipments. The customer places the order, and BDP international ships it directly to them. 

At first, they set up a process interfacing with our systems so that everything could run smoothly. We have a system for issues with the pallets or packaging, and they’re responsible for reporting incidents. Since our products are chemicals, BDP International also helps us follow the regulations for shipment in our product class. 

What is the team composition?

We have a dedicated team of six people from BDP International in our warehouse. 

How did you come to work with BDP International?

We knew them via our network, and they won our tender. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in October 2018, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

BDP International has on-time delivery; they always ship to the customer the next day. Their warehouse and inventory management systems are 100% accurate, so we never have to worry about them. 

We have KPIs set up for their service. The KPI for how long they take to unload the truck is set at 99%, and their team consistently meets those standards. Additionally, they report pallet and packaging incidents instantly.

How did BDP International perform from a project management standpoint?

They always meet our deadlines, and their service is good. Whenever we have an urgent order, like on a Sunday, BDP Internationa is super accessible; we just inform them, and they take care of it. We communicate via phone, email, and chat.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have reasonable pricing, especially considering the high quality of their service. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing I’d have them improve.
