The collaboration with Bangluxor followed a structured process aimed at building and deploying a fully functional, customizable website. The key stages and deliverables included:

Initial Planning and Information Gathering
A first meeting was held where Bangluxor explained their working methodology. They provided structured templates for us to fill in with detailed information about our company and our goals for the website.
Website Design and Review Process
Based on the submitted content, Bangluxor developed an initial website version. This was followed by two rounds of feedback, during which we provided comments and suggestions for improvement. After implementing the requested changes, the final design was approved and the website was officially launched.
Landing Page Training
At our request, Bangluxor conducted a training session on how to create and manage landing pages. This was a success and significantly increased our internal capacity for content creation.
Website Duplication and Hosting for Our Headquarters in Germany
Towards the end of the project, we requested a duplication of the website for our parent company based in Germany. Bangluxor created a mirrored version of the site hosted on a separate server, with centralized monitoring still managed from Colombia.

Bangluxor created our website from scratch, which allowed us to launch our project. Without Bangluxor's support, we couldn't have a portal to sell our product. Since this was a new company, we didn't have quantitative metrics, but Bangluxor was efficient and provided good service.

How did Bangluxor perform from a project management standpoint?

Bangluxor delivered work on time. There were some tasks we didn't explain correctly, and the team was patient in collaborating with us. We communicated via WhatsApp and email and occasionally Google Meet and Zoom calls to discuss the site's progress. The team was agile.

I want to highlight Andrés and Nicolas' work equally.

The team was always willing to help and provide the information we needed.

Bangluxor delivered on time and within budget. We had meetings as required; however, the team sometimes took time to reply but came immediately and told us what we needed to do.

What challenge were you trying to address with Bangluxor?

We had to explain a complex topic to a particular audience, so we wanted to do it visually so that it could be easily understood. Our main goal was to simplify the information we wanted to publish through graphic designs to help the audience understand what we were talking about.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Bangluxor provided us with graphic design services. They specifically created some design pieces for a report. As part of this project, the team also had to modify some existing graphics, so they didn't create some of the designs from scratch. We basically provided them with some ideas for some of the pieces, and they had to enhance those.

Initially, we had a meeting with Bangluxor to define the requirements and the visual pieces we wanted to modify and create from scratch. Once we defined the deliverables, we established the timelines — that's how we started our partnership.

As we met each milestone, we provided Bangluxor with feedback regarding the design pieces they delivered. We requested changes and worked piece by piece. The team worked on some of these pieces simultaneously, and they worked on other pieces as the previous piece was completed. As for the technology stack, the team used Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator, one of those two programs.

Bangluxor assigned a graphic designer to work on our project. This teammate was Nicolas (Digital Projects Coordinator & UI/UX Designer).

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together on this project from March–April 2024. However, it's worth mentioning that we worked on a similar project with Bangluxor from September–October 2023.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It's hard to measure the success of this project. Nonetheless, I can say that Bangluxor was committed to keep working on each design piece until we were 100% satisfied. They kept working on our designs to ensure we were pleased with them. Some of the design pieces required a lot of iterations, either due to the difficulty of each piece or due to Bangluxor's internal processes. Overall, their work met our expectations.

How did Bangluxor perform from a project management standpoint?

Bangluxor met the timelines and communicated accurately. Throughout the project, they established milestones and met each of those. We communicated via video calls to share screens and revise the design pieces in real time, and we also communicated a lot via WhatsApp.

I would like to give a shout-out to Nicolas.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Bangluxor's flexibility was impressive. They were very accommodating to our needs as a client.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would have been very valuable if Bangluxor's manager had participated more throughout the process. It would have also been great if they had done an orthography check before each delivery.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Try to be as detailed as possible during the planning stages. Sometimes, your needs as a client are complex to explain to a designer, especially if the designer doesn't have experience in the topic that you're trying to explain. It's also good to share examples and analogies about what you want. Bangluxor is very receptive and accommodating to understanding what you need in the best way they can.

The site's design idea and mock-up have been created by our company, and Bangluxor is responsible for developing the site according to our designs. Bangluxor works using WordPress, Elementor, and HubSpot. We go to Bangluxor when we have an issue with our site or require changes and to develop landing pages.

Our website views and numbers have increased since Bangluxor updated our website. The team is very helpful in web development and explaining requirements for us.

How did Bangluxor perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate with Bangluxor via WhatsApp for immediate contact, and we also use email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Not only is Bangluxor helpful, but they are also very open to explaining work to us. Sometimes, we ask Bangluxor for development work but have to do maintenance ourselves since we have to complete the process really fast. Bangluxor explains to us the best way to do maintenance and answers our questions. The team acts like a consultant, and we have very good communication.

I can't think of anything Bangluxor can improve. We're satisfied with their work.
