Our work included the complete design and development of the SaaS platform, ensuring a scalable, cost-effective, and AI-driven solution.

Key Deliverables:

• Platform Architecture: Designed the full system architecture to support seamless scalability and efficient performance.
• API Development: Developed and implemented RESTful APIs using AWS API Gateway, leveraging scalable Lambda functions written in Node.js/TypeScript and managing data storage with DynamoDB.
• AI Service Integrations: Integrated third-party AI services, including OpenAI ChatGPT, Google AI Gemini, and Perplexity, while orchestrating service communication through AWS SNS, SQS, and EventBridge.
• Web Scraping Pipelines: Set up automated web scraping workflows using Puppeteer with advanced proxy solutions.
• Front-End Development: Built a responsive React-based front end, optimized for the landing page and full web application, ensuring a seamless user experience on mobile and desktop.
• Infrastructure as Code: Defined the entire AWS infrastructure using AWS CDK, streamlining deployments via GitHub Actions.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The SaaS platform was launched on schedule and quickly gained traction, securing its first paying customers. It received significant recognition on Product Hunt, earning the #2 Product of the Day with over 400 upvotes. Additionally, the serverless architecture proved to be both cost-effective and highly extensible, enabling seamless integration of new features as the platform evolved.

The team consistently met deadlines and was highly responsive to any questions or requests. Their project management was exceptional, ensuring smooth communication and efficient delivery of all key milestones.

• Setup database and web services for all users, occassions, recipients, gift lists. 
• Build AI Agent using OpenAI API to interact with and manage all user's gifting infomation
• Build AI Agent using OpenAI APi to interact with SearchAPI integrated Google Shopping Service to work with the user to search, find and deliver the best possible products that the user is looking for. 
• Build in a feedback system

• Updating and optimizing the AI and algorithms to deliver the best possible experience.
• Updating all the manual mechanisms for adding or updating recipients, occasions, and gift lists.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

What began as an MVP became a fully-fledged, scalable, production-quality, user-focused platform, built with using serverless AWS, LangChain/OpenAI, advanced prompt engineering, and diverse integrations.

They consistently delivered on time, responded quickly to any questions or requests, and overall did an outstanding job managing and delivering upon the project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Dmytro and Oleksii from Back2Back have been absolutely outstanding partners from the very beginning of this project through its successful completion. What impressed me the most was how they exceeded my expectations, as it became more complex than expected. They always put in the extra effort required to deliver with a positive attitude and flexible mindset as user feedback emerged.
