Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Create a custom tailored system for the processing and analysis of maritime data, including the Automatic Identification System data (an international vessel tracking system).  Build a robust pipeline for processing and analyzing this data and data from other sources.  Extract insights from these analyses.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The ability to use the final output within our web application and via data extracts.  Having this data available in an easy to retrieve manner and with very quick response times was the main tangible outcome from the project as a whole.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Their ability to manage such a huge dataset with precision and speed was truly impressive.  Whilst deadlines were not always hit, this was typically due to us moving the goalposts.  This happened quite often and Azurro were always willing and able to pivot to the new requirements.

Early in the project there were some difficulties in communication (from both sides), but this was all sorted once we moved comms to Slack.
