José from Awebrie is leading all our design iniatives around creating an entire design system and based on that, redesign our mobile and web application. Also he actively supports in product design of new features. He also supports us for product marketing material and new assets for our CI. As og his many years of experience as a product designer, design lead and product person, he works pretty independently and helped us speeding up the product development by a lot.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We agreed on 1-2 weekly check-ins, working in Kanban style and individuals like José from Awebrie contribute remotely. With José he is always on top of things and in addition to our Kanban board uses his own todo lists and calendar to deliver on time. 

What was your primary form of communication with awebrie?

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Very impressive, how good José is when creating design and CI from scratch. Accurate with his work but always happy to go into feedback loops if the team needs to see more variants and ideas.

Are there any areas for improvement or something awebrie could have done differently?

No, not to my knowledge. They are excellent.

We went on several iterations of: 

• Designing UX/UI for Verso from scratch 
• Iterating on those designs based on user feedback + intuition. 
• Pushing UX improvements 
• Designing our landing page from scratch

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

UX/UI was always mentioned by users as one of the key elements of our web application. Users did mention that even without being asked about.

Top notch product management skills. Always on time, always proactive and always willing to go the extra mile. Super dependable, very intuitive and will very rapidly understands what your needs are and what you're trying to build. 10/10.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

• The kind of commitment displayed: They were always on our side, proactive, and willing to go the extra mile. You don't just have a "designer", you have a partner. 
• Design work/output: José has a long track record, he really knows what he's doing, but most importantly, he has a gifted mind when it comes to thinking about design. You will often be surprised in your interactions with him by the way he thinks or the questions he asks. This translates in amazing work/output. 
• Clear communication: This is not just in terms of understanding what you're trying to build/accomplish. It is also outstanding in the way he gives and receives feedback, making sure there are no misunderstandings. I could say more but wanted to highlight these three.
