I’m a managing partner of a software consulting company.

We needed help with accounting.

What was the scope of their involvement?

AVZ helps us with our quarterly tax returns in multiple states. They do corporate tax returns and quarterly reviews with us. To facilitate the project, we’ve given the team access to all of our financial information. Additionally, they give me financial advice and do my personal tax returns. Over the years, they’ve also helped us establish banking relationships.

What is the team composition?

We usually work with a senior partner, but they have an array of accountants with various specializations working in the background.

How did you come to work with AVZ?

They were recommended to us. We decided to hire AVZ because of the convenient location of their offices.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $300,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project started in February 2001, and it’s ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

AVZ is a team of professionals who do a great job. For 20 years, they’ve prepared all our documents in a timely fashion. We wouldn’t work with them for that long if we weren’t satisfied with their services.

How did AVZ perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re always responsive and willing to have face-to-face meetings whenever we need to. We typically communicate through emails and phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m impressed with their depth of knowledge in all aspects of accounting. They have experts in every specialty.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could lower their rates, but it’s not really a big deal.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Just be prepared and help them by being on top of your finances.
