I was the Lead Design Architect at a B2B eCommerce platform for rural India opening up newer possibilities for brands to make their products available to rural consumers. It enables access to a set of net new stores and customers for the brands, which were not accessible through the traditional distribution networks.
The rich transaction data generated on the platform enables financial institutions to bring in many rural stores as their SME customers. The same set of data further helps the brands to sharpen their marketing offerings to the rural markets.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
Our goal was to make a network that helps eCommerce companies reach customers in far-flung rural areas through its crowdsourced logistics network. Aufait UX began by analyzing our business and discussing the pain points, improvements, and changes we required in our website with our team and as well as our clients to understand the pain points, improvements, and changes required and we were extremely pleased with their project initiation with a deep analysis.
Our first week was devoted to brainstorming and aligning ourselves with each other. After that, we spent several weeks conceptualizing, drawing wireframes, and iterating on the visual design.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Our first contact was with the sales team. We had mostly communicated with the team lead and resources including researchers and designers supported the project coordinator.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The team delivered what we expected. Many of our clients have expressed their positive feedback on our platform and their work has helped us create an easy-to-use and user-friendly platform.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The entire team was very talented, dedicated, and easy to communicate with. In-person meetings and telephone calls were used to gather feedback on all stages of the project.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Throughout our experience, we appreciated their hands-on approach as well as their ability to contribute not only with the design but also with the overall idea of the project. Their excellent communication skills and good design skills are impressive.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Things could always be done faster, but the quality is more important than speed and we ended up with a great website and platform. Maybe , if it was not covid time, there could have been more team involvements and workshops.

Pepper Platform
Pepper, an investment data platform for asset management is a cloud based solution designed to optimize the asset management lifecycle with powerful CRM and analytics capabilities.
For Pepper, the scope of our work was initially the UI UX design of their website, which was mainly intended at showcasing their products. After that, we were approached to work on the redesign of the Pepper platform, which is currently ongoing.
IQnext: Building Management Platform
IQnext is an IoT enabled cloud based platform for centralized building management. It transforms the way buildings operate by integrating a data driven approach to facilitate energy, device and space management.
We redesigned the complex interface of the SaaS application in a simple way to enable the management of hundreds of devices easily. By implementing a comprehensive dashboard, we showcased important information in a visual format to improve operational efficiency and decision making. We simplified centralized management using innovative features like real-time floor map view, occupancy reports and energy reports.
Roca
Roca is a leading global manufacturer of sanitary ware products, headquartered in Barcelona and with operations across 170 countries. We associated with Roca to revamp the UI UX design of their tax and legal notice management system. We reimagined the look and feel of the Sharepoint platform on which the system was developed. By simplifying the traditional Sharepoint system focusing on the usability and visual appeal, we streamlined Roca’s management of tax and legal notices.
The design helped them enhance their legal compliance by reducing human errors and improving the efficiency with which the records can be accessed and managed.
IUDX: Smart City Data Exchange Platform
India Urban Data Exchange (IUDX) is a data exchange platform, promoted by the Government of India to facilitate easy access, collection and distribution of smart city data from different Indian cities and urban governance. It aims to use data intelligently to handle urban challenges, energy/utility usage optimization and encourage development.
We redesigned the website and web portal of IUDX to enhance user experience and multi-platform accessibility. The website redesign was focused on enhancing the content organization and inter-page navigation to improve ease and speed of data access. The portal aims to facilitate the datasets organization and we implemented a dashboard with appropriate data visualization tools. It improved the ease of analysis of different KPIs as well as the efficiency of decision making.
StockPe: Stock Market Learning Platform
StockPe is a stock market learning application that teaches stock trading in a fun way. It uses a gamified approach to help people learn via tournaments based on stock market data. Users can compete with their peers, implement their knowledge in real-time and learn on the go.
We designed the UI UX of the mobile application, focusing on creating a game-like design with dark mode, gaming elements and rewards. To impart knowledge in a memorable and implementable manner, we created bite sized content like quizzes and short videos. The common pain point of traders - not having the confidence to trade even after studying about the stock market - was addressed through tournaments which helped them practice trading risk-free. We successfully designed a practical learning experience for a complex subject which appealed to both younger and older generations equally well.
Pebbles: Journaling & Goal Setting Application
Pebbles is a journaling and goal setting app, which works on a subscription model and is built on the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) technique. It aims to help people overcome their destructive thought patterns and improve their mental well-being.
Our team did the UX research, UX design and UI design for the mobile application. We chose a light hearted theme, with a cute character illustration and a pleasing color palette to attract users and enliven their moods. With contextual journaling prompts and efficient goal setting templates, we designed the app in such a way that the users find it easy to imbibe these practices into their daily lives. Clean listings, feasibly accessible action items and the welcoming UI made the app intuitive and enjoyable to use.
Wire And Switch: Electrical Ecommerce Platform
Wire and switch is an integrated electrical ecommerce platform that connects buyers, sellers, contractors and architects in a single place. Our team did the UX research, UX design, UI design and front end development of the website to help the client increase their sales and grow their customer base.
As ecommerce websites have complex navigation and a large number of screens, we focused on creating the information architecture and sitemap comprehensively to lay a strong foundation. Over it, we built the wireframes, combining the information about target users that we acquired in the UX research phase. We integrated the brand theme in the app design during the prototyping phase to deliver an omnichannel shopping experience to users.
Growth Recipes
Growth Recipes is a branding and digital marketing website which aims to help startups and business owners grow their business by providing expert growth strategies.
Our team did the UX UI design of the website to enhance their online presence. We strategically placed information such as client lists and testimonials on the website to project the business’s credibility and win users’ confidence. While clear categorization improved the users’ navigational experience, the use of bright colors and illustrations added to the visual appeal.
LetRent
Letrent is a real estate platform that aims to make the renting process easy by managing documentation, payments, and other renting related aspects from one place.
We designed the mobile application for Letrent, working on both UX and UI to create an easy-to-use, visually appealing app. We did comprehensive user research and persona creation to design the app’s requirement to accommodate multiple user profiles and cater to the needs of each.
LGG (Let's get a game)
LGG (Let’s get a game) is an interactive community platform for sports enthusiasts to organize and play games. The idea behind LGG is to create a space where like minded people can meet, build teams, and schedule matches.
We did the UI UX design of the mobile application to create an engaging app experience. By including social networking features like chat boards for team interaction and an Explore page for discovering nearby news, we added elements of community building to the app. Moreover, to simplify building, organizing and scheduling games, we added a quick view on the home page, dedicated team pages, and simple calendar view.
RPG
The RP Goenka Group is a renowned Indian industrial and services conglomerate. It is one of the fastest growing business groups in India. We worked with RPG group on the design of their corporate insurance management portal. The portal was developed on the Sharepoint platform and we carried out the UX and UI design of the portal.
Criddle
Criddle is a content review platform where users can leave reviews for series, movies, documentaries and other video content. The app creates a platform for people to go through reviews and build their watchlist.
Our team did the UX research, UX design and UI design for the mobile and web application to enhance the user experience. Since the aim of the platform is to help people find ]reviews easily, we devised workflows to achieve it with least effort. We created a community experience for movie watchers, wherein they could hear about the favorite watches of others, read reviews and find all information about a movie, such as cast and crew and short links to media channels.
Community Farm: Grocery Ecommerce Website
Community farm is an online farmers market that bridges the gap between producers and consumers by delivering products directly from the farm.
Aufait UX partnered with Community Farm for their ecommerce website UI UX design. Our objectives when designing the website were to assure the users about the credibility and quality of the service as well as make their grocery buying experience simple. With clear menu items and neatly categorized sections, we built an intuitive and easy website navigation. Appealing colors and illustrations were used to enhance the visual aspects and make the interface attractive.
HPCL: Document Management System
Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited is a Government of India Enterprise with a Maharatna status. Our scope of work with HPCL was the UX and UI design for a document management system for one of their refineries. We optimized the record management, sharing, and storing process with smooth navigation and clear design.

Lining Studio is a sports ecommerce platform that specializes in selling badminton products. We partnered with Lining Studio for the website’s UI UX redesign, aimed to make the shopping experience more engaging and intuitive. Our proposed design enhanced the overall look and feel of the website and implemented strategies to improve navigation and a personalized user experience.
Damac Agents: Real Estate Application
DAMAC is a leading property developer in the Middle East, well-known for residential, commercial, and leisure properties development.
We did the UI UX design and front end development of the mobile application used by the real estate agents at DAMAC. To improve the ease and swiftness with which agents can use the app, we implemented proper categorization, structuring and labeling. A detailed filter view and smart suggestions were devised and designed to help agents make quick decisions, communicate information quickly with clients and increase the number of deal closures.
Macroskills: Employee Elearning Platform
Macroskills is a platform that aims to improve employee wellbeing and create a positive work culture by helping organizations cater to the different needs of employees. The platform provides three unique solutions to create a workforce that thrives – music therapy for reducing stress, short courses to enhance employee knowledge and power cards to encourage on the go learning.
Our team did the UI UX design of the website to showcase the services offered by the platform. The design emphasized on the three unique features offered by the app and highlighted the benefits, compelling users to try out the platform.
Dochours
Dochours is a clinic management solution providing complete patient management from doctor appointment to medical record management, video consultations, and e-prescriptions. We designed the SaaS UI UX of the telemedicine app to make virtual healthcare easy, intuitive and effortless for all parties involved – clinic admins, doctors and patients.
A user-friendly dashboard was designed to centralize and streamline all clinic management processes and simplify the daily operations of doctors and clinic admins. To improve the efficiency of consultations for doctors, we designed patient profiles which would give doctors a quick overview of a patient's body vitals, medical history and previous consultations. With features like easy appointment booking and e-prescriptions, we also ensured a convenient and comfortable patient experience.

Medical Bytes is an app to record patient’s medical history and conversations with features such as audio records, audio transcript, and reminders. The aim is to have one repository for all the medical consultations and to make the process of saving the data easier for patients.

They had a small UX team with one UX researcher and a designer. Our point of contact was the team lead who sent us all the UX deliverables from the team. The UX designer pitched in case of design discussions.

The UX design was very simple and to the point and helped us to get a lot of clarity in coming up with a design that does the intended job. The UI design has met our expectations and has helped the development team to a great extent

We needed help providing quality UX/UI for enterprise applications.

They provided good UX/UI for a document management platform. At the time, we were developing a small solution for a client and contacted them with the concept. Traacs Lite is the SaaS lite version of our existing product Traacs, a tool for end-to-end travel management and accounting. We intend to make the existing product lite by reducing any secondary features that are not frequently used. With an easy-to-use interface and reports to analyze data, Traacs Lite also integrates with the major global distribution systems (GDSs) such as Amadeus and Sabre.
