`Auamo can be defined as a burden or a service.  It is also a pole used to distribute and share a load across the shoulders or between more than one individual. `Auamo Consulting emphasizes personalized service based on indigenous values and approaches, recognizing that we choose to live, interact, and thrive in Hawai`i, and that our methodology must be based in and of this place. 

We do this by walking our clients through the process of identifying their values, strengths, challenges and desired outcomes, their organizational Piko or center. This helps us collaborate to meet these outcomes based on who we are, what we believe, and what we want to achieve. It also helps us determine what we need to make implementation successful
