What was the scope of their involvement?

Atomic Digital Marketing / Atomic Digital Labs has designed and developed our website from scratch. We only provided them with our domain name. The team has built the site using Webflow, which I had to purchase. They also provide maintenance services for the website; the only thing not included in the package is a subscription to changes, which we can buy at an hourly rate.

What is the team composition?

We've been in a group of about five people, which we could access at any time. We've been in contact with Pete, the account manager. We've also been in contact with two developers, a graphic designer, another account manager, and Calum.

How did you come to work with Atomic Digital Marketing / Atomic Digital Labs?

We did a Google search and looked at five different companies. We had Zoom calls with all of them. Our initial Zoom call with them was with Callum, the founder. He understood our brief and was realistic about what we could achieve given our budget. We found him informative and realistic, so we went with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in January 2025, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We've just launched the website a couple of weeks ago, so we don’t have any metrics to show success. However, we’ve shown the website to others, and the general feedback is that it's high-quality. They feel we would've spent much more money on it than we did. We've had it built and designed now; we don't really need much more from them. But like I said before, we can go back for any amendments to the website there. They'll be doing that for us.

They’ve been fantastic on every level. They were a couple of days delayed, but that was only because of our constant change requests. They’ve been accurate with deadlines, which included five days built. We've had weekly Zoom meetings with the account manager and constant email communication throughout the week. They’re very informative and constantly in communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The quality of their work has been outstanding and has surpassed our expectations. The process that got us to that point has been easy. They've allowed us some artistic license, but they've also been realistic about what could be achieved. They’ve achieved everything we've asked for, and we're thrilled with everything from the service to the outcome.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there's nothing I'd have them improve. Obviously, there's always room for improvement at any company. But from our experience, we were pretty pleased with everything. They pretty much delivered on everything. And like I said, we were so excited by the end of it. In terms of our project, it was brilliant. I couldn't fault them, I have to say.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Have strong views on what you want. So, the initial concept that came back was not where we wanted to go. There may be some customers that go with whatever they're sort of told. But we had such strong views where we were, and I think they enjoyed that. They liked that we could guide them, which made for a much better project. Even though they're brilliant at creating whatever they want to do, the more you can guide them, the more you'll get from them.

The culture fit was really important for us, we needed to work with a company that could move at pace, could be creative with limited knowldege about the product and service we have and where flexible to changes.

One area that could be of immense value moving forward is more project timeline information. Seeing progress on a GANNT chart help visualise the journey and would have allowed us to see potential bottlenecks that we could mitigate.

Whislt building the site work on the SEO and create a base layer and trends for progression. We targeted the SEO with an annual scalable target. Atomic demonstrated the excellence in service we were primised at the consultation phase. They managed to understand our needs perfectly and alined our build with the exterts that would fit. As a conusmer we changed the goal posts considerabbly during the build adding new idfeas and pages - these where always met with positivity and professionalism. The web developers have our upmost respect and we can (without hesitation) recommend them fully.

Our SEO work has been going on for two moinths and alreayd we are noticing the changes in through traffic to sales made. They are very number foicused and the information supplied is always on tiem and detailed anayltically. Agian like the developers - if you have a chance to work with the SEO team at Atomic - look no frither for trusted and tangible improvements.

This is a hard question to reply as I want to say the SEO as this has had a direct impact on our day to day, the team have done a great job always showing hours worked and what on etc, however as great as that is, I have to say Peter from design - here is a gentleman who embodies the word customer service, yes he built our site, yes the site looks great however this is not something to right a review about more we paid for a service and received what we paid for. Peter really went above and beyond, changes to pages design (after the fact) updates and had a real positive attitude to the project and the works flow timeline. Ensuring we as a customer never felt in the dark or silenced by original wants from the site. Thank you all Atomic, but a special thank you to Peter for all the hard work, numerous updates and total understanding and patience with myself.

The SEO programme has siginificantly increased organic traffic to our website which has shown great progress. In addition to this, our site health has improved and the overall brand has a much cleaner aesthetic online. The service Atomic offers is second to none. They have a large team and every aspect is skilfully handled. Our main point of contact is Tim. Tim is one of the friendliest and most helpful people you will ever do business with. We have been having weekly calls for over a year now due to the complex nature and scope of our projects, with multiple sites and apps.

I genuinely look forward to our calls. Tim is knowledgeable and helpful, nothing is ever a problem to him and there is always a quick solution or idea. Even if I ask questions out of hours on Whatsapp etc, Tim is always quick to respond. I have been kept up to date on the whole process from the very start and I have great confidence in all the development aspects.

Although I have overseen the development of many new websites over the year, I have no IT background, so Tim has been very patiently in explaining the more complex issues in a way I could understand and helped to guide me to produce the best results. 

The whole team is incredible. From start to finish I have been impressed. From Ellie at the original quote stage, working with Heidee on designs, as well as the input from both Simon and Matt, I can genuinely say I enjoy dealing with the whole team.

Unlike many other companies and developers I have dealt with over the years, Atomic has given sensible deadlines and stuck to them. The only time we have ever missed a planned deadline has been when we have made changes to the scope during the process. They deliver high quality and on time. We also use some of Atomic’s add on services such as hosting, maintenance and security. Everything always works well, is kept up to date and flawless.

Having worked with several digital marketing and seo agencies over the last decade, it's great to align with a company who are as well tuned to our needs and expectations, as Atomic are.
