The culture fit was really important for us, we needed to work with a company that could move at pace, could be creative with limited knowldege about the product and service we have and where flexible to changes.

One area that could be of immense value moving forward is more project timeline information. Seeing progress on a GANNT chart help visualise the journey and would have allowed us to see potential bottlenecks that we could mitigate.

Whislt building the site work on the SEO and create a base layer and trends for progression. We targeted the SEO with an annual scalable target. Create each page, contant, and flow ensuring the website matched our brand ethos, passion and excellence in service.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Atomic demonstrated the excellence in service we were primised at the consultation phase. They managed to understand our needs perfectly and alined our build with the exterts that would fit. As a conusmer we changed the goal posts considerabbly during the build adding new idfeas and pages - these where always met with positivity and professionalism. The web developers have our upmost respect and we can (without hesitation) recommend them fully.

Our SEO work has been going on for two moinths and alreayd we are noticing the changes in through traffic to sales made. They are very number foicused and the information supplied is always on tiem and detailed anayltically. Agian like the developers - if you have a chance to work with the SEO team at Atomic - look no frither for trusted and tangible improvements.

The team did what they said they'd do—deliver our dream website with SEO on time and regular updates. I am very happy with the service level and update level we were given and still receive.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

This is a hard question to reply as I want to say the SEO as this has had a direct impact on our day to day, the team have done a great job always showing hours worked and what on etc, however as great as that is, I have to say Peter from design - here is a gentleman who embodies the word customer service, yes he built our site, yes the site looks great however this is not something to right a review about more we paid for a service and received what we paid for. Peter really went above and beyond, changes to pages design (after the fact) updates and had a real positive attitude to the project and the works flow timeline. Ensuring we as a customer never felt in the dark or silenced by original wants from the site. Thank you all Atomic, but a special thank you to Peter for all the hard work, numerous updates and total understanding and patience with myself.

The SEO programme has siginificantly increased organic traffic to our website which has shown great progress. In addition to this, our site health has improved and the overall brand has a much cleaner aesthetic online. We've introduced a blog which links to our social media accounts and has increased customer interaction through those platforms.

Atomic have designed and created 5 fantastic websites for us, with a complex back end system for our users, as well as some custom event software our users are able to utilize for our corporate events. We are now also in the final stages of launching apps through Atomic.

The designs they have created for us really work well for our business needs. Because we have many site users, there has been particularly attention paid to the UI and making it simple and effective. Tim and the team has guided us through all this, with their ideas and experience being incorporated. The feedback we have had from our clients on the new system is excellent and it has been a great update to our business.

We also use some of Atomic’s add on services such as hosting, maintenance and security. Everything always works well, is kept up to date and flawless.

The service Atomic offers is second to none. They have a large team and every aspect is skilfully handled. Our main point of contact is Tim. Tim is one of the friendliest and most helpful people you will ever do business with. We have been having weekly calls for over a year now due to the complex nature and scope of our projects, with multiple sites and apps.

I genuinely look forward to our calls. Tim is knowledgeable and helpful, nothing is ever a problem to him and there is always a quick solution or idea. Even if I ask questions out of hours on Whatsapp etc, Tim is always quick to respond. I have been kept up to date on the whole process from the very start and I have great confidence in all the development aspects.

Although I have overseen the development of many new websites over the year, I have no IT background, so Tim has been very patiently in explaining the more complex issues in a way I could understand and helped to guide me to produce the best results. 

The whole team is incredible. From start to finish I have been impressed. From Ellie at the original quote stage, working with Heidee on designs, as well as the input from both Simon and Matt, I can genuinely say I enjoy dealing with the whole team.

Unlike many other companies and developers I have dealt with over the years, Atomic has given sensible deadlines and stuck to them. The only time we have ever missed a planned deadline has been when we have made changes to the scope during the process. They deliver high quality and on time. In general they did everything they said they would do in good time and have continued to be helpful and supportive.

There was one moment when we had to pay for a wordpress template which we assumed would be included in the price, but it wasn't a big deal. There were also times when we had to organise things like fonts which I think they probably could have done to save our time.

I’m a director for Brideplan; we’re a 360-degree wedding planning platform. We link users to suppliers and enable users to access benefits, discounts, and wedding insurance. We also focus on mental health; we aim to provide users with a stress-free wedding planning journey.

What challenge were you trying to address with Atomic Digital Marketing?

We engaged Atomic to design and develop our platform.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Atomic has designed and developed our platform from scratch. First, they interviewed us, and we shared a general idea for our branding and platform design. We wanted the platform to look sleek and professional and feel warm and inviting. After a few iterations, they created a logo, color scheme, and brand guidelines. Then, they developed the platform using WordPress.

People can sign up for our website as suppliers or users, so we partner with many wedding vendors to showcase their services. Users can access a dashboard to track the suppliers they’ve reached out to and shortlist them. They can also message suppliers directly through the platform. When users select a premium supplier, they can receive discounts on wedding insurance, honeymoons, meal preparation services, and other things. Planning a wedding can be stressful, so if users need emotional support, they can also access counseling services and connect with life coaches through the platform. 

Since launching the platform, the team has continued supporting us with SEO initiatives and new features. They’ve reviewed our website content and optimized it based on keyword research. Additionally, they’ve helped us run campaigns for Google Ads and performed some backlinking work.

We’ve worked with 7–8 teammates from Atomic, including a director, project manager, and the branding and SEO teams.

How did you come to work with Atomic Digital Marketing? 

We chose Atomic because they were very cost-effective, and we liked their ideas.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested about £35,000 (approximately $44,000 USD). 

What is the status of this engagement?

We engaged Atomic in March 2022, and they completed the platform in November 2022. However, we still work together for SEO.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Atomic has helped us fill a gap in the market by developing a platform that puts emotional support first. We’re pleased with how they’ve helped grow our preliminary ideas into a well-defined vision that they’ve brought to life. The platform is very sleek, and we’re happy with the overall branding. They’ve also helped improve our Google positioning. 

We just launched the platform last month, and we’ve already seen a high number of suppliers and users signing up. In terms of analytics, we’ve seen 12,000 impressions in the past 30 days, which is great. We’ve also been featured in local newspapers and other publications, which has been positive. 

How did Atomic Digital Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

Atomic has been very communicative and engaged in the project. They’ve understood our goals and provided us with new ideas for features and functionality. The team is very organized; they use ClickUp to manage tasks and Figma for designs. We mainly communicate via WhatsApp, and we meet regularly via Microsoft Teams. 

Although we launched the platform later than expected, it wasn’t their fault because we kept making additional requests. Overall, they were very accommodating during the development period, and they always kept us informed of progress. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’ve been most impressed with Atomic’s ability to bring our ideas to life and build on them. They’ve shown great enthusiasm for our project, and the whole process has been very collaborative. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

We should’ve invested more time in the design phase upfront, but that’s not on Atomic. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I recommend working on the design and functionality of your platform as much as possible upfront, so you can clearly communicate your goals to the team.
