Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

• Add hardware and technical equipment for an additional two booth setups. 
• Leverage existing software design UI/UX and code to create two separate training experiences: airport agent 
• announcements and flight attendant announcements. 
• Travel and Install the software and booths at two site locations in Atlanta, GA. 
• Onsite installation technicians per location to perform the installation (1 day for 2 locations) 
• Documentation and training to operate new equipment and hardware.

The project had four phases:

• Phase 1: Project Planning and Hardware Sourcing
  • Activities: Scope Sign-off from the client, Kickoff Session and Project Planning, and Hardware sourcing 
  • Deliverables: Confirmation of hardware sourcing and Detailed project work back schedule 
  • Scope Terms: Timelines are dependent on expected hardware delivery. 
• Phase 2: UI/UX Designs Updates
  • Activities: Creative Asset Gathering & Discovery and Design Updates with listed visuals and functionality 
  • Deliverables: Fully designed experience as per end user needs 
  • Scope Terms: Timelines depend on the timely collection of assets, legal, and feedback; One round of feedback and refinement on deliverables. Consolidated feedback is due within two (2) business days unless otherwise stipulated in the project schedule. Additional rounds of creative and/or extensions on project schedules will be evaluated with the client for addendum costs and implications to the schedule; the Client is to sign off on this phase before moving to development.  
• Phase 3: Development and Testing
  • Activities: Front-end Development, QA Testing and Review  
  • Deliverables: Application updated as per designs approved, With daily user count and audio recording backup  
  • Scope Terms: Based on designs approved and existing functionality of the application made by ASTOUD in the previous scope of work. Additional changes to the functionality of the application will be evaluated with the client for addendum costs and implications to the schedule  
• Phase 4: Onsite Installation and Testing  
  • Activities: Installation of updated software at two locations within Atlanta, and QA Testing  
  • Deliverables: Two variations of the application installed on three phonebooth applications, Testing to make sure the application meets client requirements, 2 days of onsite technical support (1 day at each location), and Basic training for the use of the application  
  • Scope Terms: Onsite technical support will be provided on the same day as the system installation.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

•  Measuring Announcement Clarity, Gate Agent Interaction, and Airport Employee Interaction from the customer post-flight survey. 
•  Installation of 2 booths for IFS and 1 booth for ACS; in addition, hardware supporting project was installed at the ACS Center of Excellence - these installs align announcement training curricula across 2 ops teams.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Due to the evolution of the project, there were many change orders executed and Astound was forthcoming and timely in terms of their delivery.  Astound is also very collaborative if we brought forward new ideas to consider and the team always delivered a response quickly and with good reason substantiating support or opposition to executing an idea.

• Astound's resources and breadth of capabilities is enormous.
• Exceptionally talented in sourcing information, hardware, and cost detail.
• Having a digital line of business was very helpful as well!

Not off the top of my head. They are a great company with great people and amazing results.
