I’m the founder of BusyBees, a contracting company. We provide services for small businesses and job seekers by connecting them via our platform, which has a mobile application.

What challenge were you trying to address with Astello Software Solutions?

We needed help creating an app and launching my idea into life.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Astello Software Solutions helped me grow my idea into a meaningful project with a business plan and a clear structure of work. They refined the goals, strategies, and monetization of the project. The team acted as technical co-founders.After that, Astello Software Solutions presented UI/UX design templates, which I approved after 10–12 days. 
Then, they developed the frontend and backend of my app, continuously updating me on the process. We went from the alpha to the beta version in a little over a month.After that, the team conducted QA testing and helped me make all the minor changes I wanted in the final version. In the end, Astello Software Solutions helped me launch the app into both stores and helped with ASO and overall marketing.

How did you come to work with Astello Software Solutions?

Someone referred Astello Software Solutions to me. I chose them because their pricing fit my budget, they had a great culture fit, and they offered good value for the cost. Moreover, their company values aligned with mine.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around $18,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from October–December 2024.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The platform proved to be an amazing idea. It grew to become one of the main businesses I had. It was almost fully autonomous. We had around 7,000 independent job seekers and 500 businesses and private individuals who were engaged. The rate to sign up for businesses was free at first. However, since the second month, we charged around $50. We started to charge users who were looking for independent job seekers around $55 monthly. 
More than half of them (roughly 300) stayed and paid. After that, the number of users on both sides started to grow moderately around 10–15%. Some of them weren’t willing to pay for it, but it was normal. Most importantly, we kept our growth some time after introducing the paid subscription. The users who were seeking jobs were growing in numbers regardless, as it was always a free sign-up for them. That actually attracted more and more paid clients.

How did Astello Software Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

Astello Software Solutions estimated the project completion length to be three months. However, they delivered earlier. It took them just around 8–9 weeks in total. We communicated via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Astello Software Solutions really cared about me achieving success. They were extremely patient with me all the way through the process. The staff was incredible. They always responded and clarified all the little steps for me, as I wasn’t tech-savvy at all.
In the end, I sold my project to one of the biggest competitors in Brazil. I still understand that without Astello Software Solutions, I would have been just a dreamer. I hope we can work together once more. The team is wonderful. Great thanks to Philip, who was my main point of contact.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There was a time zone difference of 3–4 hours. However, I couldn’t blame them for it. Regarding the technical execution or anything else, they were flawless.
