We needed help upgrading our website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

AST & Partners has been providing web design for us. I submitted a form mentioning that I wanted to upgrade the website, and they responded quickly. In addition to that, they've also done SEO for us.

I've been working with Andrei (Founder), who functions as a developer and a project manager.

How did you come to work with AST & Partners?

I found them through Wix and submitted a form to upgrade my site. Wix has a system where users can send messages when they need support, and people can respond.

How much have you invested in them?

We've spent around £1,000 (approximately $1,400 USD) with them so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in November 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Within less than a month, they had turned out a fantastic website for us. Additionally, they're easy to work with; they've been very patient, kind, and creative. Their team has also suggested many good ideas and a lot of different approaches. I have had some bad experiences trying to launch this website in the past, and it has been a slow process, so meeting them was such a benefit — they’re very professional.

How did AST & Partners perform from a project management standpoint?

They've been excellent; they're by far the best I've dealt with. For communication, we use Google Meets and phone calls. In addition to that, they've also said that we can review any issues we might have in the next couple of months for no additional cost.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their knowledge of Wix is outstanding; they've made it possible to construct a directory that other providers said wasn't possible, which is impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don't think there's anything they can improve — we have an excellent working relationship.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be very clear and write down a list of stuff you need; even if it is basic, write down as much as possible.

I asked Andrei to develop my website using Wix editor. He has been incredibly flexible, helpful and patient. As when starting a new business often your initial idea can change several times. I contacted a number of companies before choosing Andrei, and it was his unparalleled customer service which made it exceptionally easy to pick him.

The previous website was out of date, non-functional, and inaccurate and did not portray and accurate representation of the company.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

AST were selected initially from a review and sift of WIX. When the process was narrowed down, discussions took place with the remaining providers. Deciding factors were a combination of case studies, competitive price, but in particular, the likeability and professionalism from AST.

Provided rough budget, timeframe for completion, image and brand projection, previous issues and building for the future. AST produced a branding guideline, amending on feedback from the customer. Incremental updates took place, with weekly discussions, open positive challenges on how to improve and also AST provided a balanced approach as to what works and what does not. Demonstrations were provided, as well as using case studies, to inform the customer of the potential options available.

1 for the majority, with 1 in background support. Company owner and lead designer was the focal point.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The feedback generated from a reputation and brand awareness has been excellent. The website has been well received, and also underpins the professional image required. The customer does not sell products through the website, yet does use this to celebrate news stories, events, for recruitment and to project brand image.

Very fluid, able to adapt quickly, provide excellent guidance and advice, meet deadlines and be proactive with issues.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The expertise. They were polite, courteous, a pleasure to work with, all of which is important, but ultimately, you need a company that can deliver what you want, when you want it, to quality and cost and this is what took place.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No, even post launch, AST offered de0bugging support as part of the workscope.
