I’m the owner of figBid LLC, an online fig auction company where people from all over the US can buy, sell, bid, and auction fig trees and other plant products.

What challenge were you trying to address with Artesian Software Technologies LLP?

We needed someone to provide us with custom software development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Artesian Software Technologies does software customization for our company. We start each project with me sketching out an idea and then meeting with the team to discuss the process.

They will then provide me with a few iterations of the product and come up with the timelines.

What is the team composition?

I mainly work with Sumit (Founder & COO).

How did you come to work with Artesian Software Technologies LLP?

The developer that wrote my software recommended Artesian and a few other vendors. I chose to work with Artesian because they were initially very understanding of my needs and because of that, I’m not afraid to provide them with some leeway when it comes to artistic integrity.

How much have you invested with them?

So far, we’ve probably invested around $25,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working together since June 2021 and I don’t see our relationship ending anytime soon.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Personally, I’m very happy with Artesian’s work, as we’ve not had any major issues come up with the site. When something does come up, they’re very minor and are quickly dealt with.

How did Artesian Software Technologies LLP perform from a project management standpoint?

When dealing with software customization projects, deadlines are more of a suggestion. Sometimes I’m pleasantly surprised with the velocity of their delivery, other times they’ve gone a bit longer than the expected timeline.

I trust them so much that if a project does take long, I imagine it’s because of the level of work they’re putting into it.

Additionally, they introduced me to a software called Loom and we typically communicate through Google Meet and face-to-face meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re impressed with how easy it is to work with them, as they’ve taken the edge off a novice like me being worried about working with a developer.

The thing I like about them the most is their ability to maintain a level of communication that I’m comfortable with.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I’m sure there were some instances where they could’ve done something differently, but nothing stands out at the moment.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would advise you to have a very detailed plan before meeting with Artesian.

I’m the VP of global managed services for Cintra Software and Services. We’re an Oracle platform partner providing managed and professional services across North America and India.

We hired them to manage our Salesforce rollout.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Artesian directed our Salesforce implementation and customization. Our team defined the process: account management, dashboards, and support. Their team then implemented the process.

What is the team composition?

I communicated with the company’s owner, a senior manager, and a couple of project leaders.

How did you come to work with Artesian Software Technologies LLP?

In 2014, I started our operation in Chandigarh, India. Artesian is based there, so I found them by coincidence.

How much have you invested in them?

We spent around $100,000 on the project.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our partnership began around March 2017 and it, unfortunately, ended in March 2020 due to COVID-19.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Artesian knew Microsoft technologies well. My team gave them great feedback. Everyone was happy and received what they sought from the engagement. My team members who worked with Salesforce every day were happy. I haven’t heard any complaints.

How did Artesian Software Technologies LLP perform from a project management standpoint?

We used PowerPoint, and Artesian used Gantt charts.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their team was professional, and I would work with them again. They delivered what we required. If there were delays, Artesian was upfront and let us know.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Although I don’t know their current team size, they could benefit from additional resources. I won’t blame them, however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be honest about what you want. Don’t make any assumptions because there could be a communication gap. As long as there’s open communication, I wouldn’t anticipate any problems.

We’re an automotive group with eight stores with some of the biggest brands in the nation. I’m the IT director for all of our locations. I handle everything technology-wise, including coding and product management.

What challenge were you trying to address with Artesian Software Technologies LLP?

We were looking for someone to help with software design.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

During the time we’ve worked with their team, we’ve been able to implement several features into our platform. We’ve been able to automate our entire accounts payable operation, switching our processes to electronic payments, and creating a full texting platform and electronic paper flow. We print less paper now since we have digital signatures captured. We also have a complete data archiving system built-in.

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with six people throughout the engagement.

How did you come to work with Artesian Software Technologies LLP?

We found them online. I interviewed several vendors on Upwork, which is what we used in the past to find some of our freelancers. When we started looking into doing this project, I wanted a company that I could partner with and grow with. Artesian Software Technologies LLP came out on top.

We’ve invested around $300,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our engagement started with them in February 2017.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Their work has greatly impacted our business. We’ve been able to reduce headcount within our accounting departments, service departments, and appointment setting teams because of the automation.

One of their biggest strengths is communication. If they commit to something, they deliver.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their commitment is extremely impressive. They’ll complete any task at 100%. They also have a functional testing platform. The team at Artesian Software Technologies LLP takes pride in their work. A lot of freelancers only want to get the job done as fast as possible; their company isn’t like that.

I can’t think of anything.
