Please describe your company and your position there.

Compassionate nurse Case Management company which advocates for our clients in meeting their medical rehabilitation needs.

For what projects/services did your company hire Monroe IT?

We were in need of a vendor who could handle our IT needs. They transitioned us from our old environment to a new network, including fax and phone abilities to support our case managers and office support personnel with daily needs.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We chose this vendor based on their location, knowledge, availability and most importantly their flexibility!

Describe the project in detail and walk through their service package.

We did not have an IT support team. Prior system entailed a shared environment of files, email, google phone and an online fax application. All separate entities. We met with Monroe IT and explained our situation and what we thought we needed. Within a few days, we received a proposal for the services they felt we needed making recommendations for things we never even thought of.

Upon accepting the quote, Monroe IT began to work their magic in establishing our new environment, transitioned our prior files so we would have our history and got us up and running rather quickly with new Microsoft licenses, 3CX phone and a fax solution.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked directly with Aaron (CEO) and 3-4 other members of his team. They are all very knowledgeable, professional and responsive!

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We are a rather small company and the team at Monroe IT worked with each individual to "on board" to our new environment. They met with each person to set up their device(s) and ensure all apps were working properly. Since initial transition, if an individual has a question or issue, they make a phone call to IT support or submit an email. Monroe IT is very responsive to assist in resolution!

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Workflow was very good! We were communicating throughout the entire planning, building and transition time! We had meetings, exchanged emails, etc. Whatever was needed to thoroughly understand our business and needs and to create a solution that was good for us.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

How personable they are, but yet business-like and professional. Always willing to help in anyway. They have quarterly meetings with us to review our services and make recommendations of additional services our business can benefit from. Aaron has been very flexible with accommodating our business needs!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing that I can think of at this time. They have been a great team to work with and we are planning to continue working with them!

I’m the executive VP of an asset-based logistics company.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Monroe IT?

They’re our contracted third-party IT vendor, overseeing all aspects of IT. The team handles both major and minor projects.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

One notable project they took on was overseeing our move to a new facility. We moved to our new headquarters in the summer of 2018, and they managed that relocation. They made sure that we were set up with the proper IT infrastructure to begin conducting business in that building. They oversee IT for the entire organization, including our offices in Texas, Detroit, and Mexico.

Additionally, they set up our cloud-based transportation technology, including hardware, servers, and server racks. They touch every bit of technology that our company uses.  

How did you come to work with Monroe IT?

Their owner messaged a colleague and me on LinkedIn. We eventually entertained that and has a good conversation. They were interested in entering the transportation space, and our goals aligned. We contracted with them, and it’s been great so far.

How much have you invested with them?

In total, we’ve spent about $250,000 on their services. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working with them since January 2019.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We do quarterly feedback reviews for their company to make sure we’re always on the same page. They’re very professional and knowledgeable within their field. We’ve had a great experience and enjoy our relationship with them.  

How did Monroe IT perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate our needs through their ticketing system. Our team has management oversight over that platform, able to examine open ticket metrics and how many have been closed. They respond in a timely manner with well-executed solutions. I was impressed with their mindset for business and the ability to plan out work before implementation. The company is in touch with them daily.

What did you find most impressive about them?

From a strategic growth standpoint, they have goals of their own that are pushing them to constantly be improving. They’re a down-to-earth, approachable, and professional team. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Nothing comes to mind.

Build a true relationship with them, and they’ll be there to assist you with whatever you need.
