I’m the founder of Insureblocks. Insureblocks is two things: 

1. leading educational podcast on blockchain
2. a boutique consultancy on blockchain

Our website was excessively slow and wasn’t performing as hoped. AquaOrange helped to optimise our website by changing our hosting company, CDN provider and other custom optimisation advice that helped our site perform at least 200% better.

What were your goals for this project?

Website loading page times was 200% better and our Google ranking improved

1. recommended a web hosting company
2. recommend a CDN provider
3. Facilitating the transfer from our existing web hosting and CDN provider to the new ones
4. Ensured that the backend settings where optimised as much as possible
5. Recommended some on page optimisation to improve page loading times

What was the team composition?

The team was composed of an account manager and a back end system administrator

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

As mentioned we had a 200% reduction in page load time, leading to a drop in our drop off rate and to an increase on time spent on page

It was smoothly and professionally arranged from the get-go. We had regular updates on the job. We used Slack as a communication and project management toool

The speed and professionalism of the team. The team was very knowledgable from the get go

Describe the project in detail.

Creating my website using a theme I liked, working with theme developer (who was extremely difficult to deal with and get in touch with), transferring the management and hosting from a different supplier and setting up everything. It was a difficult process made easy by AquaOrange and I didn’t have to do anything, they managed everything with speed, efficiency and professionalism

What was the team composition?

I liaised only with the CEO and one key developer who appointed the task to the relevant staff members.

They successfully completed the job I placed with them and did an outstanding job

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Extremely. They were responsive and always ready to help

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They went over and above the contract to help make the theme I chose, work. I picked a very difficult and limiting theme but the AquaOrange team fixed issues which should have been the developers responsibility.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I’ve had a very good experience with this company and can’t think of anything area which needs improvement.
