APSIS has helped us with our software development for the last five years and it is the best decision we could have made. As a healthcare platform they have helped us build custom software that is HIPAA compliant and uses a modern architecture.  They helped us move from an old, non-AWS, architecture into the modern framworks we have now. Utilizing best practices they were able to create a queue based message processing system that works for all messages from SFTP and API integrations that we support.  Additionally, they have provided ongoing support and guidance on our AWS decisions as well as debugged issues that may occur in our Node and React application.

On time delivery of software. 

On budget delivery of large implementations.

New clients able to join thanks to our new integration options.

The full team are very effective with communication.  For us, they utilized Slack and gave frequent updates and responded to us quickly whenever we had issues or concerns. They worked hard to align with our other partners and delivered our software on time, consistently.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Apsis worked with us to design and develop our primary web portal used for submitting prior authorization request. They provided continuous product support and improvement to the portal, including two rebrandings and multiple updates. Additionally they help us develop a price transparency tool allowing clinics and providers to provide and accurate and accessable cost estimate for medical procedures. Apsis not only provided development support but also technical support with our AWS design and deployment.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

As a result of working with Apsis we were able to produce a web portal and all of the database and AWS components required to make the company successful in much less time than we would have been able to do alone. Their continued support of the system they produced has been invaluable in helping the company maintain its postion in the marketplace.

Apsis has been very responsive to our needs. They work in our ticketing system, have a presence in our Slack, and respond quickly to questions and feedback. They have consistantly delivered code on time, even with some very tight deadlines.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are truly experts in software design and development. They understand the security needs around patient data and the industry best practices to protect that data. Their ability to understand our system and our needs, both current and future, is impressive and very helpful

I can't think of anything they could have done better than they did. They are still working with us, so if there was something I'd tell them directly, and they would listen.

I was referred to Apsis Labs by the original engineers who had created the application.  As a first step, Apsis refactored the application, updated and upgraded all dependencies.  Next they developed additional features and managed integration with both our website and withour CRM (Zoho).  On an ongoing basis they have managed the codebase and continuously update the dependencies.

Quality first and foremost.  Accurate with timeline and cost estimate.  Zero downtime since they took over.

Time management is excellent.  My application and programming needs were relatively small for Apsis, but mission critical for hospitals.  All scheduled projects were delivered on time and on budget (often below budget) and more importantly, Apsis recognized the mission critical nature of the application so they were instantly available when issues arose.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Apsis Labs simply delivers - it's a small group but tightly integrated so there is never a communication issue between the various engineers and myself as the customer.  They develop a high quality product as reflective of the absolute absence of problems.  Being a smallish company, comprised of very seasoned engineers, every response and every project is completed by experts. They have been extraordinarily responsive to me as a client and issues are never pushed off - they are simply handled.
