BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

Right now this is a start up with a unique Idea of dating/Meeting App. The concept name is BMAD (Buy Me A Drink). Mainly I am executing this project since 2019 and I have 2 more partners which are also investors.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire App Developerz, and what were your goals?

My company hired App Developers to complete/Develop Hybrid App. We had been trying other freelancers and companies in the past but App Developers really took this to home. They helped us to fix the existing code and complete the project.

They have delivered the Beta App and right now the App is being tested within my family and friends circles. "The Real challenge" was to find an actual company and who can take this home. I spent more than a year on some immatures and freelancers, spent a lot pf money and time but they made it worst.

Due to the above circumstances I really had hard time to believe in App Developers team. Eventually I trusted them and their process and I am glad my team did. Everything was chaos since multiple people had been working on it.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I saw an ad on my FB, and sign up for their App development services.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

The main agenda of this app is to give the real experience of online match making/Dating now a days people are making scams via online dating apps. This app would allow the user to see the available users in a certain radius.

Like if you are in a café or bar and looking for partner then you only need to open the BMAD app and see the available people in 50 to 100 meter radius. The other should be the subscriber of the app and have their profiles on it.

If the first user see any person available in certain radius so the App will allow them to send a virtual drink (Subscriber would have to buy the virtual drinks as Token to send request) to that person and other person can see the profile of the requesting person and accept and reject request.

If the person accept the request then the other person would be available in nearby radius which would allow them meet and talk immediately and that would decrease the chance of fake profile and dating scams. I only know about the main platforms, it is "React Native" and "Node.js".

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

There was actually 4 to 5 people:

•  Business Developer
• Tech Lead
• Backend Developer
• Frontend Developer
•  Project Manager

There were more people working on this project internally but I only went on a call with the above-mentioned roles. It was mostly a group meeting.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

As I mentioned above in my answers, No one was able understand this project and complete it. I started to think that I would never be able to launch this app, but now I have beta version and testing it in my family and friends circle and we are planning to launch this app on google playstore and Appstroe in June.

The App is already completed but I don't wanna rush that is why we have decided to keep this in testing phase till the end of May Although uploading it on Play Store and App Store was not the part of the project scope when I gave this project App developerz but they are also going to take care of this.

So I would say this is 85% to 90% completed.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

They were very efficient, mostly they used online tools. They invited me in their Assana group to monitor the project progress.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Communication and Clarity, These guys know how to deal with the client without freaking him out. Everything was so uniform from Project scope understanding to plan Execution. They always prefer a group meeting so everyone can be on the same page. I liked that most.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Overall I like their working style. So no Comments.
