I’m the director of Smart-bis B.V. We develop custom software solutions­—ranging from mobile applications to online integrated systems—for our clients.

We engaged Aplite Info Solution Private Limited to develop custom software for a third-party client to run an online auction.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted the system to allow users to log in and place bids on auctioned items. The software needed to use Zend Framework, MySQL, Twig, and Node.js.

We provided their team with wireframes and documentation of the planned system. Aplite Info Solution Private Limited then assigned developers to each part of the system and built the front- and backend.

We worked with three developers with the following specialties: HTML/CSS, PHP, and Node.js. We managed the team and provided guidance throughout the development process.

The team fulfilled all requirements and helped improve our processes for tackling future projects.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The collaboration proceeded smoothly. We kept in constant contact with developers via Trello, Talk On Task, and Skype. Aplite Info Solution Private Limited also provided a communication line in case we ran into issues with the development team.
