I'm the design manager of Global Rescue, a company that provides medical, security, evacuation, and travel risk management services to organizations and individuals, offering crisis response and support worldwide.

What challenge were you trying to address with ANIMWOOD Studio?

We needed help with animation services. Our business is rescuing travelers who are sick or injured. It has always been challenging to visually tell the story of the rescues given these operations take place in all corners of the world, and filming them would be complex for our team.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We hired ANIMWOOD Studio to create two 30-second animations that tell the story of real-world rescues executed by our operations team. The animations are currently being used as part of our awareness marketing efforts.

ANIMWOOD Studio's scope of work included two episodes with a total runtime of one minute, 2D vector artwork, 2D animation, adjustments for social media frame size 9:16, limited use of 3D effects and animation, storyboarding, asset preparation, illustration and animation, sound design, and delivery of two 30–45-second animated rescue stories at 16:9 and 9:19 aspect ratios.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

ANIMWOOD Studio's animations were well-received by our marketing team and senior management; everyone was very impressed with the final deliverables. While we're still collecting data from our marketing efforts associated with the Rescue Tales animations ANIMWOOD Studio produced, early numbers support the benefit these assets have had as part of our overall awareness marketing efforts.

Moreover, members of the team and senior management have commented on the quality of animation and storytelling. We've also heard anecdotal feedback from our audience that they were served the animations as part of our paid ad efforts and reported that they looked great and encouraged them to learn more about Global Rescue.

ANIMWOOD Studio's project management was efficient, effective, and transparent. The production schedule hit all milestones in a timely manner, and any creep in scope was discussed and addressed promptly before any impact on the budget occurred. They delivered in the exact window proposed at the onset of the project, which isn't easy to do!

ANIMWOOD Studio is a truly creative team that maximizes the value delivered, all within budget. They're wonderful to collaborate with and are high-level artists and storytellers. We found them to be professional, communicative, and open to client feedback. With AI slop flooding the internet making content feel generic or homogeneous, ANIMWOOD Studio is delivering unique and impactful stories that stand out among the noise.

In this project ANIMWOOD Studio provided pro-bono support to develop an animation focused on raising awareness of bullying and encouraging fundraising. The deliverable was the production of an this animation. In order to do this, they worked with us on script development, produced storyboards and soundeffects.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The animation was produced to a standard that we loved. We have received positive feedback across our comms channels in response to the video, showing it is a success. It is a little too early to see if it has acheived fundraising goals, but we are sure it will help us with fundraising.

We were delighted with the project managment. They clearly communicated with us, keeping us up to date with their work. They also were very flexible with our requests, and were also positive and supportive. They were always happy to respond to our needs in a fast and efficent manner.

Animwood was brought in to the project to establish the style, create illustrated assets and animate a 3 minute video. Creatively this included adhering to the end client branding, following agency moodboards for both style and motion and bringing the provided storyboard to life. This included incorporating feedback by Demo Duck, the pharmacuetical agency and the end client with each key deliverable.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The quality of the project kept to high standards, feedback was incorporated properly and a large factor is that Animwood always delivered on time, even when curveballs were thrown at them.

I communicated via email with their art director Martyna who did a wonderful job of keeping me up to date on progress and was open to feedback and helped find creative solutions to client notes. Deliveries were always on time and they were open to working together to figure out the schedule when the client was late with feedback a couple time. We started the project with a video kickoff call with Martyna and their VP.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Working with Animwood was such a smooth and seamless process. I always felt like we were on the same page. From the initial reachout and kickoff call, to working through the creative aspects of the style and video to the final delivery. Communication was impressive and their ability to be honest and open about what was or wasn't possible was refreshing. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something ANIMWOOD Studio could have done differently?

Not many notes about improvement. If I had to say something, is that there were a few scenes in the animation that our art director just had to give a little bit of guidance and feedback for to help elevate and refine the quality. But given the price and scope of this project, we were happy overall.

Animwood was tasked with handling the design and animation for a two video series for a brand new client. We delivered an AV Script as well as some initial Style Frames and, from there, Animwood handled Storyboarding, Asset Design, and Animation. The production of the two videos were staggered but did overlap, so Animwood was handling both design and animation for different videos concurrently.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The client was not only happy with the development of the creative throughout production but was thrilled with the product they received. The final videos delivered were received with an abundance of praise and they were even described as 'perfect!' Since this was a new client for us, we of course were beyond excited to deliver such high quality work and owe a huge thanks to Animwood for this. Not only did these videos get great reviews, they also had the client immediately come back to us for two more videos which we're currently in production on with Animwood.

Despite the time difference, Animwood's project managers were incredibly prompt with communication and helped us navigate a client that threw us some curevballs with regards to the timeline. Overall, their project management was top notch.

Animwood sp. z o. o. helped to create a prototype and design of a decision support system for a wastewater treatment plant. The application, based on expert data and analysis, provides the user with information and suggestions for changes in the process that will reduce operating costs. The system supports several roles and authorizations, e.g. technologist, current service, laboratory. Functional analysis, interviews and tests conducted using the previous solution and new mockups allowed for the creation of a completely new application with more useful functions and at the same time more user-friendly.

The system has successfully optimized wastewater treatment plant operations by reducing costs, improving compliance with environmental standards, and enhancing staff efficiency. The combination of advanced analytics, real-time recommendations, and a user-friendly interface has proven to be a valuable asset for the plant's operations, driving continuous improvement.

The project was managed exceptionally well, with the contractor delivering the final product on schedule. They remained readily available at all times, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the entire process. Animwood delievered an amazing piece of content at the end of this project.  Working with Rafal and his team at Animwood has been an absolute pleasure from start to finish. From the very first interaction, their treatment of our script was nothing short of epic, setting the stage for an incredible collaboration. But what truly stood out was how they consistently elevated the project throughout production.
Their creative input was invaluable—whether it was their innovative problem-solving, unwavering passion for their craft, or their collaborative spirit, every aspect of the process was handled with world-class professionalism. In addition to animations, Animwood also designed graphics for the websites, such as illustrations, which supported the overall aesthetics and functionality of the sites.

Before our videos were produced by Animwood, user engagement on our website was moderate.

As a result of this collaboration, there was a noticeable increase in website interactivity and user engagement (up by 20%), potentially leading to higher conversion rates in sales (up to 15%).

What challenge were you trying to address with ANIMWOOD Studio?

After a rebranding process, we hired ANIMWOOD Studio to create an animated video to introduce our new name and brand.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

ANIMWOOD Studio created a fun animated video for us for marketing purposes. Initially, we had a video call with Rafal and told him about our company, our rebranding process, our new name and logo, and what we were looking for. We told them that we wanted them to be creative and come up with a style for the animation. We also told them that we wanted the video to be quick and last around 7 seconds to show that we changed from our previous name to our new one.

ANIMWOOD Studio came up with the creative and sat down with us again to tell us what would happen in the video. They then created the video and edited it.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We measured the success of this project by comparing our vision with the output, the complexity of the task, and our satisfaction with the quality of the result. ANIMWOOD Studio provided us with the specific quality we wanted, and we were satisfied with the video. They got it right the first time, and we didn't have to make a lot of changes. Moving forward, we'll be posting this video on our website and social media pages.

How did ANIMWOOD Studio perform from a project management standpoint?

At the beginning of the project, they gave us a full schedule and told us what would happen and when they would submit everything. The team worked off the schedule exactly, so we knew what we were working with. It was a pleasure to work with them. We mainly communicated through email.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

Rafal was our main point of contact and the person who took the lead on the project. He was amazing and a pleasure to work with.

What did you find most impressive about them?

ANIMWOOD Studio was very professional and responsive — they responded quickly to our emails and suggestions. I loved that they did everything according to the schedule and there were no delays.

It's difficult to provide a video that's spot on from the first try, but ANIMWOOD Studio got the video exactly correct from the first try.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don't have any comments for improvement. Everything went very smoothly, and ANIMWOOD Studio's work was well done.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Give the project some time for them to be creative and create the animation. A lot of clients come in last minute and ask to do something quickly. However, it's very difficult for them to create something quickly, especially when working in animation.

The promotional video was made on the basis of our script. It was a short story related to our city's symbol, the dragon, and linked to the theme of our conference. The main characters of the film were a pregnant dragoness, whose ultrasound scans were performed by a dragon doctor. The development of the pregnancy ended with the birth of a baby dragon, who became the mascot of the conference.

The film featured additional animal doctor characters, and at the end the case of the pregnant woman was presented at the conference by Dr Dragon. The film ended with details of the location and date of the conference and the logos of the sponsors.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

To date, no one in our field in Poland has previously promoted a conference using an animated video. Therefore, due to its good form, great execution and good script, our video was very well received. Certainly, the video attracted the interest of many doctors who had not previously attended our conferences. The images of the film's characters were included in the conference materials, which was very much appreciated by the participants.
