Amwata Tech was commissioned to develop a custom Web App that would allow our customers to upload design files and recieve an automated production quote. The purpose of the project was to streamline our sales and customer interaction pipelines so that we could focus more on operations and production.
The key deliverables included:
Intuitive UI for customers to easily upload files online
Develop a backend facing protocol for the storage and viewing of customers files
Develop an API between the Web App and our 3D Printing slicing software
Develop an API that would feed production costs from our slicing software back to the customers via the Web App or email
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The project was a success! The outcomes included:
A very intuitive and aesthetically pleasing UI that reflected our compnay brand and image.
Easy interface for our customers to upload files.
Effectvie and secure cloud storage of customer files used for auto quoting.
The creation of an API that both fed and recieved information from our slicing software.
The creation of accurate production costs.
The successful delivery of production costs to our customers in the form of a quote.
Overall, the system developed has significantly cut our sales and customer development time allowing us to focus and excel on production.

Project management was amazing! A detailed roadmap was produced up front. The service provider demonstrated an intuition for developing the system, pointing out features, functions and protocolas we as a comopany had not thought of. They were a great company to work with!
The service provider was ahead of schedule and moved very swiftly through the various milestones set out. Communication was clear and the service provider was easy to reach. Overall it was an enjoyable experience to work with Amwata Tech. The attitude, energy, enthusiasm, and skill were phenomenal!

Most impressive was the developer's innate intuation about developing software and more importantly solutions. They went above and beyond in developing the system, always surprising us along the way with the addition of fantastic extra features and added value.
They went above and beyond in terms of performance and time. The project was completed ahead of time with even greater performance than we had expected. Lastly, it was just incredibly fun and enjoyable to work with Amwata Tech. They have a great work culture!
