They have helped us find candidates for executive positions. We have had about 12 recruiting processes with them. 

How did you come to work with  Amrop Central America & Caribbean?

I had met Amrop’s CEO from a previous position and knew about the services they provided. We decided to try an initial project with them and had a great experience.

 How much have you invested in them?

We have invested in about 12 positions — usually ranging between $120,000–$150,000 per year of annual compensation. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We had our first project with them eight years ago. They have a great knowledge of the Latin American market, so we have been continuing working with them.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Being a relatively small company, we couldn’t take many risks when hiring for an executive position. We had to be sure the new employee could meet expectations, and when we've collaborated with Amrop, we've known this is going to be the case. They’ve provided us with several options from which we can choose. 

How did Amrop Central America & Caribbean perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate mostly via Whatsapp, and generally, their communications are very good. They also send us weekly reports of all processes, so we can be aware of their statuses.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Amrop is a terrific partner and has done a great job; they are always open to our needs. We’ve had ups and downs as a company, and the team is always there to help us find or relocate talent when times are not as good. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Amrop maybe could expand their services and offer recruitment services for other job levels, not just executive positions.

We needed to professionalize our work team because of our growth level. Amrop Executive Search helped us assess the company’s state and generated proposals for a rearrangement regarding our CEO, CFO, and other management areas.

Their team first took the time to understand our business, its dynamics, and requirements. Based on this, they made a selection of candidates that were adequate to our needs.

We started with our operations management position. For that, they provided us with three candidates, but they ended up not being adequate for our team. Right away, they provided us with four more options.

We’ve worked with numerous headhunting companies, so we knew about them through personal references.

We’ve had great results. Finding the right person for a high-ranking position is key to money and stability. Thanks to them, we’ve been able to bring value to our company.

We’re impressed with the way they’ve managed all processes in terms of timing and tools. They’re very professional, and we’re happy in that regard.

What did you find most impressive about them?

If the process doesn’t work, they’ll guarantee taking care of it for clients and to find a new solution. But that doesn’t happen often.

I am the founder of an investment management company.

What challenges were you trying to address with Amrop Executive Search?

We needed help sourcing quality talent.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Amrop Executive Search provides head-hunting services for us. They helped us create candidate profiles based on our specific needs. They usually give us 8 candidates that meet all of our requirements.

After a round of interviews, they apply tests and give us a detailed report of the candidates that pass the first screening so then we can make our final choice. Once we hire the candidate they also offer transition coaching.

First, they helped us find an executive manager for our restaurant group and then another executive manager for our industrial sales area. Most recently, they helped us find a CFO for the holding. The three job posts were based in Panama but for our restaurant’s CEO position they provided us with international candidates.

The most recent recruitments have been made via zoom because of the current complications of the pandemic. However, we used to meet in person and had very close communication with them.

We worked directly with two people.

How did you come to work with Amrop Executive Search?

We had worked with other headhunting agencies before, but we didn’t have a great experience. When we came up with the need to hire our restaurant’s group manager, we knew it was a great challenge that we wouldn’t be able to do it ourselves.

We decided to look for a new head-hunting agency to collaborate with. We interviewed three different companies and from the three they were the ones that adjusted better to our needs and we have had amazing results so far.

We have invested between $120,000-$150,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together in 2019 and have been working with them for 18 months.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our restaurant group had a great growth potential but it wasn’t reaching it. However, after hiring Amrop Executive Search, we experienced a total change in our vision and have had great results.

Even with the very complicated situation the country and the restaurant industry faced last year, we closed the year with positive numbers and I know that our new executive manager was a great part of this success.

How did Amrop Executive Search perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate with them on a weekly basis. Their team would always report any advancements in the project. Additionally, they always met every deadline and provided great results.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The quality of their results stood out to me. The candidate list they provided had an amazing quality, each one of them was excellent.

I honestly couldn’t say anything.
