We hired Alphawizz for a design integration and development of a Wordpress website.

What were your goals for this project?

Follow the Zeplin design and Integrate it into Wordpress. There were both Desktop and Mobile designs. The final output should be a exact same website with zero design errors and bugs.

How did you select this vendor?

This vendor was suggested by one of our friends who had already worked with them.

We had shown the design mockups to vendor and asked them about the goal and final output required. We has then provide all the Zeplin designs and they worked on their local system and then uploaded the final work to our server.

We assign this project to project manager and a designer and a developer worked on it.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Alphawizz has done exceptional work and we have got what we wanted. The design was perfectly integrated and we hope to continue to work with them.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was easy to communicate with both project manager and developer. They were in same timezone and available online and on phone every time.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The more impressive thing was they kept patience and gave 100%. There were some last moment design changes and extra work added, but they didnt refused to work and done everything we wanted.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We are satisfied with their work.

we needed an interactive infographic to display our story in a creative way and Alphawizz helped do just that.

Educate my audience, increase sign ups, and differentiate my company from the competition.

i chose them because i previously knew the managing members of Alphawizz from other projects. they never disappointed and since long gained my loyalty. i always get consistent great quality.

in short, they took my paper drawn ideas, and turned them into a functional webpage.

What was the team composition?

i believe they had a large team to get it done quickly. i only spoke to the project manager and the developer. Alphawizz prioritizes customer service. So i never worried about the composition of their team.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Since the webpage was developed, my company grew tremendously. We have had an increase of 25% more sign-ups. We have had more investors come speak with us.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

we used trello, to organize and project manage this project. it was quick and easy.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

It's clear that they really care about their customers. They also have good communication skills.

Are there any areas for improvement?

They don't need any improvement other then more business so they can provide more relatable services like hosting.

I’m the owner of Premier Start Ups. We help online businesses with designing, branding, websites, apps, marketing, and other vital business elements.

What challenge were you trying to address with Alphawizz Technologies?

We sought out experts in app design and backend development at a reasonable price point. We needed a partner that was flexible and one that could be used frequently.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

On a typical project, I’ll speak to the customer and create mockup. Then, I’ll get some basic site requirements to best identify the scope. Next, I’ll make sure it’s feasible. We use PHP and WordPress mainly, but can work with other technologies within reason. Lastly, we’ll begin the coding portion.

Sometimes they’re creating basic sites, while other times they create complex sites with multiple APIs. In the past we’ve created aviation sites, hotel sites, blogs, widgets, apps, and other things of that nature.

What is the team composition?

I had one main point of contact and a full development team. I prefer to pass my requirements on to one person and if we need to be more agile, I can speak directly to the developers.

How did you come to work with Alphawizz Technologies?

We began working together quite some time ago. Unlike a lot of larger agencies, they’re open to collaboration and building a portfolio together. Our relationship benefits both parties, which is why I continue to work with them.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested approximately $50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together in 2017, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’ve worked well together because I facilitate the relationship between them and the client, and act as a gatekeeper. We have a good working relationship, and they generally deliver good work.

How did Alphawizz Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

It’s good, but it really depends if there are strict deadlines set or not. There are always some things that come up that need to be changed in terms of the timeline, but it’s never anything major.

Our communication works well, even though they’re an offshore company. We never have any language barrier issues.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I love their collaborative approach. They push new ideas and different technologies, which could be a cost to both of us, but it’s something we both appreciate. They value a long working relationship, rather than a single piece of work that they’ll never see again. I feel the same way, which is why our partnership works.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I always give them notes on each project, since they’re all different. They’re good, and my feedback depends on the requirements. When I give them a blank canvas to work with, there’s generally more feedback, whereas when the requirements are set specifically, I don’t have much to change. We’ve been quite happy with most of the projects we’ve built.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

It really depends on the size of the project. Unless there’s a fundamental change in scope, they always complete the assignment. They’ve never ran over the timeline and asked for more money, so they’ve been honest in that regard.
