We work on two projects with AlphaBI. 

1. Production reporting software - 
   1. This software helps us track our day-to-day production activities making it more autonomous without manual interactions.
   2. Customized reports and dashboard were developed in order to give more clarity to the management.
2. Custom CRM software - 
   1. A custom CRM solution was implemented to scale our in-bound sales activities. 
   2. Features like automatic nuturing sequences were developed to start outbound sales which we did not have before.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

1. Production reporting software: 
   1. Reduced manual interference in manufacturing activities.
   2. 15% increase in production due to delegation through the solution
2. Custom CRM Software: 
   1. 10% increase in inbound sales.
   2. Established outbound sales processes which we did not have before.

They have a process call SCRUM which we really liked as it gave us good clarity about what was happening. We had a few features delivered with every sprint which made implementation really easy as we worked on implementation gradually with each release. Overall, their process was quite smooth, and we enjoyed working with them.

The project initiation took a little time because of account setup and everything. We could have saved some time there but that's fine.

We developed a B2B customer portal integrated with a custom website that helps our customers place orders without manually interacting with our sales team.

Key Deliverables -

Since the implementation, we have:

1. Decreased order TAT by 50% for our existing customers.

Maybe they should work on implementing a ticket management system for the support tasks but we think it's all good on the development side. Their team is great; they respond well.

We partnered to process DNA, bacteria, and virus samples for advanced bioinformatics analysis, including gut microbiome and blood age tests.

• Dry Lab: Analyzed DNA sequencing data to identify bacteria and viruses, performed gut microbiome diversity analysis, and assessed blood age through biomarkers. Integrated patient health data from Shopify orders and assessments for comprehensive insights.
• Wet Lab: Conducted DNA extraction, microbial culturing, and prepared samples for sequencing. Ensured high-quality control for accurate results.

Key Deliverables:

• Reports on DNA sequencing, gut microbiome, and blood age.
• Sequence data for bacteria and viruses, integrated with patient health data.

• Sample Pickup Management: Integrated with ShipRocket for efficient sample pickup scheduling, tracking, and delivery.
• CleverTap Integration: Used for customer notifications and engagement throughout the process (order confirmation, sample collection, testing, and report readiness).

Lab and Bioinformatics Process:

• 10 Stages of Internal Process: Managed through a structured 10-stage process, including DNA extraction, microbial culture, sequencing, data analysis, and report generation.
• Data Mapping & Entry: Smooth data flow and mapping between lab results and bioinformatics team, ensuring accurate data entry and streamlined analysis.

Customer Experience:

• Beautified PDF Reports: Generated professional, easy-to-read PDF reports summarizing test results, insights, and recommendations.
• Report Delivery: Sent reports to customers via email and WhatsApp, ensuring timely delivery of results and enhancing patient experience.

AlphaBI assigned a dedicated Project Manager, with Aarsh himself closely collaborating with our Operations, Lab, and Bioinformatics teams. They took the time to understand the requirements, despite some initial ambiguity from our side as stakeholders. The team followed an agile methodology, allowing for iterative development and continuous improvement. While this was the first time implementing such a software flow, AlphaBI delivered most items on time, incorporating feedback effectively to refine features and enhance the overall software. Their responsiveness and proactive approach ensured the project progressed smoothly.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What stood out most about AlphaBI was their deep focus on understanding our specific needs. In our case, where bioinformatics and wet lab software were entirely new, with no existing references in the market, AlphaBI took the time to work closely with our team. Despite our stakeholders being experts in lab and bioinformatics work but not familiar with software development, AlphaBI managed the entire process impressively. They went above and beyond by visiting our office multiple times for in-person meetings with different stakeholders, ensuring they understood the intricacies of our requirements and delivered a tailored solution.

Are there any areas for improvement or something AlphaBI could have done differently?

Overall, our experience with AlphaBI was very positive. There aren't many areas for improvement, as they delivered great results and worked diligently to meet our needs. If anything, having even more initial clarity on requirements from our side could have streamlined the process further, but this was more due to the nature of the project rather than anything AlphaBI could have done differently.

Our Cloud and mobile applications are now available to our customers. They are satisfied with our tools, which they find complete and easy to use. 
We are keeping in touch with Alphabi to make adjustments to certain functions of these tools.

Their responsiveness. Our Whatsapp conversations are fast and fluid. Every question is taken into consideration and resolved quickly.

We've had a few problems with disconnections from our equipment and therefore from our customers. But Alphabi was able to react quickly to resolve them.
