Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Our platform is based in Wordpress, with a lot of custom code to achieve the required features for this investment platform that deals with investors, projects, investment rounds and investments. The original platform was developed in Spanish, following Spanish regulation for financial services and mainly addressed to Spanish investors. We had to implement several projects:

• Move the platform to multilingual, both for investors and for companies.
• Adapt the platform to the European regulation.
• Create secondary market in the platform.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We us Trello as the toold to create, define, plan, execute, test and debug the various subtasks in which we could split each one of the subproject. We had weekly sprints with planning sessions and trello was used to keep track of the execution of each task and communicate in both directions.

We used trello as the tool to create tasks, plan the weekly sprints, monitor the evolution of the tasks, comunicate in both directions, and make sure that tasks move to the stage environment and then to the production environment. The items were delivered on time and the Almacore team responded perfectly to our needs.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I'd say that Almacore work in a very professional way. They take very seriously all aspects of the project defining properly the tasks, plan each sprint, execute the tasks, and keep the proper communication to make sure that the needed tests both in the development and production environments were efficiently performed.

Additionally they are very proactive, trying to think ahead in eventual future problems. They are good professionals, structured, experts in their knowledge areas, with a high degree of commitment and never overpromising.

Are there any areas for improvement or something AlmaCore could have done differently?

I hired Almacore to develop and maintain both the front-end and back-end of my website. A key portion of this work was integrating with my POS API and developing our own API that could connect with our mobile apps.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

AlmaCore's ongoing development of our website has increased our performance on nearly every measurable outcome from new customer counts, to conversion rates, to error rates.

Their project management skills are excellent. We use Asana to manage and prioritize tasks and they provide updates on the tasks themselves to give full visibility into progress. Then we hold a weekly call to review progress and go over any unresolved issues and move forward.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The most impressive thing about Almacore is that they take the time to fully understand your business objectives, which enables them to often suggest improvements that I hadn't even considered. It also saves time on my end because they generally know what we're trying to achieve so I can give them a broad goal and they will figure out the best way to achieve it.

No, I would recommend them without qualification.
