• We engaged Ahax Tech Hub to create a mobile application for patient engagement along with a backend system that will connect to our HIE. We were looking to improve the overall user experience while maintaining HIPAA-compliant data security and speeding up time to market.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

It was an end-to-end custom software and mobile app development project. Ahax delivered UI/UX design, built cross-platform mobile app, secure backend and APIs, as well as implemented cloud hosting. Key deliverables included:

• iOS & Android app for iPhone & iPad.
• Private encrypted patient data backend
• Admin dashboard for providers
• System plugs into wearable and EMR API’s third-party_pairsAPI integration (wearables & EMR).
• Testing, QA and app store Roll-out

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

In the three months after launch alone, we saw a 35% increase in patient engagement and cut down onboarding time for providers in half. The app was working fine with no major bugs found, it passed all of our security compliance checks at the first time. Best of all, I hit my launch date with time to spare, which helped me close another round.

Their project management was excellent. They used agile, had weekly sprints, and constantly entered updates into Jira and Slack. They met all our deadlines and were extremely responsive to feedback—even when we made last-minute requests.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They really could meld Western-style project management with the world’s best Chinese engineering. Ahax Tech Hub offered high-level technical skills at an affordable cost. Communication flowed, thanks to the team's English fluency, which really made collaboration a breeze.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Ahax Tech Hub could have done differently?

If anything I could have used yet more documentation about how to scale in the future. The end product is great, but a more comprehensive handoff package would have been a nice touch.
