Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm currently the Ground transportation supervisor at Living Spaces. I help in the process of supporting KPI metrics with all domestic, and nearshore shipments. As well as establish relations with all of our carriers.

For what projects/services did your company hire Agramont Worldwide Logistics Inc?

Currently, Agramont is a big partner of the organization. They move all of our freight from Southern California into Texas, as well as different regions of Mexico into California, Phoenix, and Texas. They have also serviced our store projects by providing assets and drivers to support starting up the facilities.

SOLUTION

How did you select this firm and what were the deciding factors?

Every year we launch an RFP and invite multiple carriers to provide bids on all of our lanes. We had been struggling in the Mexico market, which was a lane that Agramont started supporting. After seeing the consistency, on-time, and great communication, we open the door for them to support us in more lanes.

We focus on a speed-to-market type of business. Our motto is "Buy it today, enjoy it tonight".

With that, we need partners that can help and support our business by moving products fast, and safely. Agramont offers a large group of team members that support us 24/7. They are constantly tracking their drivers to ensure that they meet all of our expectations, as well as offering a large number of assets to our network.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Our main contact is Alfonso, who is our manager. We also consist of 8 other individuals who are part of our transportation specialist handling the day-to-day tasks.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

Working in partnership has helped improve our in-stock levels at all of our distribution centers, as well as help provide faster service to our customers. Having their support on our store projects, has also helped move up schedules since they provide assets ahead of time.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We typically have group chats between our team and their team members to ensure a smooth communication line. We have quarterly business review with their team to go over performance metrics.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I'm very impressed with their service and quick response to all our situations that come up. This team thinks quickly on their feet and always figures out a way to make things happen.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There were some personal changes at the beginning of the project dut the lack of knowledge of the tms, which cause some communication gaps between both parties.
