Tile This is a tile tools retailer that sells anything you could ever need for tiles, grout, and more. I’m on the sales and marketing side of things, working directly with Agency Jet on our website.
What challenge were you trying to address with Agency Jet?
About last summer in 2019, we restarted our website from scratch and needed somebody to help us get people to our website. Agency Jet took the lead, and it’s definitely paid off.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Agency Jet is responsible for streamlining our SEO to attract more site traffic. They do web pages, videos, and slideshows for us in addition to collaborating on keyword research. They even make sure that we have good backlinks to our website. Anything that we could think of short of PPC, they’ve done.
Currently, they’re doing an audit of our WordPress site to check its usability. We’re then going to work on revamping our site, getting in the final details to make the UX all the better.
What is the team composition?
Our outsourced accountant recommended Agency Jet to us. They’d worked with some of her other clients in the past, and all had been good reviews.
How did you come to work with Agency Jet?
I work directly with Colby (Director of Client Strategy). He acts as our project manager and takes care of everything 95% of the time. Once in a while, I’ll interact with Darrin (CEO), too.

We pay around $4,000 per month, which totals over $50,000 so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
We got everything squared away and started in October 2019, and it’s an ongoing partnership.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The number of people going to our website has gone up tenfold compared to last year, which is much higher. Sales have also increased, though not necessarily as high as we’d like to see. That part is on us. Agency Jet has told us that they can lead the traffic here, but it’s up to us to really capture it. I’m a one-man team at the moment, so that capturing processes has gotten pushed to the back burner for now.
As for the website itself, I’ve gotten some really good feedback from customers about how the website looks, and other employees have said the same.
How did Agency Jet perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re terrific. The team is on top of everything — sometimes to the point where I wonder if it’s necessary! We started off with Basecamp to talk with each other. After I had issues with it, we switched to emailing back and forth. They’ve done a great job since of keeping up to date on tasks.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’d absolutely say it’s how on top of things they are. That’s the biggest compliment that I can give them.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there’s nothing really to say. When it comes to Agency Jet, they’ve filled every void that we were missing from our previous service providers.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Just do it. It’s a big investment overall, but it’s totally worth it because you get a company that’s going to work with you. They’re not going to work for you nor do anything without you. But they’ll keep you in the loop 100% of the time. There’s not one thing that you don’t have a say in because they’ll run everything past you.

I’m the owner of Danleee Medical Products. We sell medical supplies nationally and internationally. Although we specialize in cardiology, we essentially sell any supplies found in a doctor’s office.
What challenge were you trying to address with Agency Jet?
We wanted to drive more traffic to our website and needed a partner to take a fresh look at it to give us ideas.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We brought Agency Jet on board to help increase our current website’s traffic and rankings. We initially contracted them to work on 25 keywords but then increased their focus to 50 words. After we gave them the words and phrases for which we wanted to rank, they researched them and came back to us with a list of our competitors’ rankings. That clarified our keyword strategy, which their team continues to execute. Their team writes blogs and creates videos for us too.
What is the team composition?
I work with Darrin (Owner) but my contact’s Colby (Director of Client Strategy). He directs his team based on our phone calls and meetings.
How did you come to work with Agency Jet?
We hired another company to redesign our website, and they recommended Agency Jet to us. We had a couple of calls with their team and then decided to give them a try. I was initially hesitant because their services were expensive, and I previously dealt with SEO companies that charged thousands of dollars a month but didn’t explain how that money was spent. However, Agency Jet was transparent.

We began working with them around April 2019 and continue to work with them.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Agency Jet increased our rankings for almost all of our keywords. For at least half of the 50 keywords, we’re in the 1st–3rd position. Although they’re more expensive than I initially anticipated, their work is worth its weight in gold.
Last year, we did about $300,000 in online sales through our website. So far this year, we’ve done almost $800,000 in online sales. As we’re in a pandemic, that increase isn’t exclusively attributable to Agency Jet’s work.
It’s phenomenal to see how their team is able to generate so much traffic because our website is quite antiquated. We recently had a call with Colby and our website design vendor. Colby’s helping us to design the website properly for SEO purposes and isn’t charging us extra. Agency Jet is just excited to see us grow.
How did Agency Jet perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re transparent. Every month, we have a phone call when their team reviews our rankings. After we end the call, I know exactly where we stand. I know how we’re ranking compared to our competitors and how we need to improve. They give us a lot of insight. Working with them is a great experience.
Their team’s respectful of my time but also keep us moving forward so that we can get results. When they write a blog or create a video, they email me the content asking for approval. If their team doesn’t hear from me within a few days, they’ll follow up with another email.

I’m most impressed by their transparency. I previously worked with two different SEO companies and paid thousands of dollars a month but never saw results or heard from them again.

We saw the evolution of business from the days of salespeople to the Internet. That way of business is only expected to expand. COVID-19 hit, which ground all in-person sales meetings to a halt.

We simultaneously pursue SEO and website development initiatives. Our existing website wasn’t on a friendly platform. We’re about halfway through fixing our website and launching a new one on WordPress.

We wanted to grow our brand as far as getting our name out there to let people know about our products. It was about creating demand for our products through both the consumer and different storefronts.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Agency Jet helps us with our digital marketing and brand awareness. They started out with our SEO, identifying the right keywords to best get our blogs and content out there. Colby (Lead Project Manager) and his team are responsible for making our content more discoverable. He follows up with me regularly to go over reports on our ranking improvements.
The other side of the project involves refreshing our website. Artem (Client Strategist) is not only updating the look of our brand but also ensuring that we have a responsive design. Currently, his team is coming up with new ideas on the general design and content layout.

I work with two main people. Colby knows so much about the SEO side and is always very responsive. He’ll stay on top of our campaigns to keep us on task, which makes things easier for me. If I miss something, I know that he’ll revisit the item to get it done.

Think over what you want to get out of the partnership and give them as much information to work with as possible. Having a clear understanding of your vision allows them to figure things out on their end, and they’re open to your suggestions as well. That’s what makes them so easy to work with.
You don’t have to do everything that they say, but be open to their advice. If you say that you’d like to hold off on something, they’ll be fine with that because they’re looking at the long game.

I’m the marketing manager at Carlson Fixtures, a custom fixtures company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Agency Jet?
We only had two major customers in the past 20 years. New leadership came on board last year and we were hoping to get more public exposure and to promote our brand to different retailers. We needed someone to help with our SEO and develop our website.
What was the scope of their involvement?
I built the majority of a new website and Agency Jet helped me with the rest of it. They added five different pages and created some animation on the logo, making it rotate and making sure it was set up properly.
They added a service session to the navigation bar on the top. Additionally, the team does our Google Ads, and they put us on a lot of different websites to help us to build backlinks and to help us rank higher on Google.
We changed our new domain name and, because of this, Google doesn't know us since it’s a fairly new website. Agency Jet is helping us to rank the new website on Google.

We are definitely ranking higher on Google now. They put our company name on 20 different sites which they told me would help with the SEO. I definitely see the rankings going up.
How did Agency Jet perform from a project management standpoint?
We have really good communication with one another. There was one time I didn’t hear back about the website for a few days, but after I said something to them, Agency Jet began responding within 24 hours.
They are also really open and honest, and they educate me on the SEO work that they do. The team sends me monthly reports and they also have a meeting with me to go over all the things that they did in the past months and what the results are.
I really like their dashboard. They pull all the data from Google Analytics and all different software and put it on their dashboard to make it easier for me to look at.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Agency Jet has the knowledge needed to rank keywords higher on Google. They’re also really good at helping you to pick the keywords.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They need to improve on their content writing skills. They’ve helped me write some pieces for my company but I’m not satisfied with their content. I talked to them about that. The team doesn’t understand the industry we’re in, so they rely on us to help them understand the industry to produce better content.

If you’re looking to drive more traffic to your website or want to rank number one on Google, Agency Jet is the agency to use. I like working with them, and we’ve had a good relationship.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the manager of a retail furniture store: International Design Center.
What challenge were you trying to address with Agency Jet?
They’re an SEO company, and at that time our online presence was pretty minimal. We were trying to increase it.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They’ve been immensely helpful to us in gaining a better online presence. We’ve slowly created a better website ourselves, so they didn’t help with that – just our online presence, helping us be seen on Google.
We handle our own social media as well, but they tackled keywords. You get a set amount, which we’ve kind of increased throughout, from 15 to 30. They helped us get those keywords onto our website so the Google algorithm pulls them.
What is the team composition?
I met the owner originally, and now I have my own project manager and he has a team under him. Colby (Director of Client Strategy, Agency Jet) does a fantastic job.
How did you come to work with Agency Jet?
They reached out to us, and I dug into them and a couple of other companies. I was working with another provider at the time with a smaller scope. They managed our online presence, making sure we had good reviews out there but they weren’t really making sure we were seen. It wasn’t doing enough, so I looked into other bids. It wasn’t about the price, but who I thought would do a good job. Jet Agency seemed like a good one to go with. They didn’t blow smoke up my butt.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They have a website where I can log in and see all my numbers. I’m a math guy, so I like to dig deep. Over time, our numbers have shot straight up like an arrow, both for the terms we focus on and also our whole online presence, including secondary words.
How did Agency Jet perform from a project management standpoint?
We schedule a monthly call, and if I need anything else we talk via email. They always stick to the timelines.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re very good at customer service, and what I really appreciated was that they schedule a call every month to go through what you like and what you’d like to work on. They continually addressed needs within the account. We dictated it. A lot of these SEO companies say they’ll improve your presence, which they will, but then they set you off by the wayside. It’s the wild west with SEO companies, and I felt like Agency Jet did things the right way.
They are also very transparent. They don’t just tell you things are going well, they show you things are going well with data.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, not that I can think of.

Trust their process. They’ll give you lots of options in the beginning about how to handle it and pick your keywords. Rely on their expertise in that because they do this on a grand scale. They know how to do this stuff.

What challenge were you trying to address with Agency Jet?
We wanted to modernize our website. We had a pretty bad experience with our previous vendor, so our project needed a rescue.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Agency Jet took over our website and now manages all of our SEO. Every quarter, they create 12 content pages and blogs while suggesting additional blog topics for us to write about ourselves. They monitor our keywords, analyze our content for duplicates, and give us access to a dashboard that hosts our Google Analytics and SEO reports. Their team even created two videos — one short and one long — to post to our website, YouTube, and other sites, as well as an infographic for our sales team.
On the website side, Agency Jet is leading a total overhaul from the ground up. They’re rebuilding our backend code to be more uniform. They’re also making it easier for us to update the website ourselves; they’re creating a user-friendly layout and training us on how to use it.

Agency Jet has done such a good job with our keyword optimization that our web traffic has doubled after 12 months. When we started, we were only ranking for 20 keywords; now, we rank for 1,200. Every metric we track, from our social media to our bounce rate, has improved consistently since we started working with Agency Jet. And it’s all due to their super creative strategy; it keeps us relevant at a low cost. Their creativity and drive to help us be successful are why we’ve worked with them for so long.
How did Agency Jet perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re perfect; I couldn’t ask for more accessibility or help. They take the time to explain things to someone like me who has limited experience with this. They genuinely care that I understand and learn. Recently, Colby did a lunch-and-learn for our company, taking two hours to explain our website so that more of our team understood it. We have a monthly call where we go over the reports and can ask any questions we need to.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Before starting this project, Agency Jet took the time to come to our facility and learn more about our business — who we are, what we do, and what we want to achieve. That way, they could talk about our products in an intelligent way without us constantly rewriting their material. I can’t say that any other SEO company that has approached us has done that same level of preparation.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t think so, honestly. They’re very flexible and accessible. They just need to keep up the good work.
Any advice for potential customers?
I’d ask, “Why aren’t you working with Agency Jet already?”
Web traffic has jumped by tenfold, surpassing the internal team’s ability to capitalize on it. Customers have also responded favorably to Agency Jet’s site changes. Not only does the team deliver as promised, but they also stay on top of their tasks and communicate consistently.
