I am a Co-Founder of a start-up social media app platfrom within the United States, California.

For what projects/services did your company hire Afterglow Studio?

We hired Afterglow for their creative design expertise in Ux/Ui design.

How did you select this vendor?

After searching online for 2 weeks, I came accross Afterglow Studio on dribble. After reviewing their design portfolio and comparing it with other companies, I decided that they would be a perfect match regarding their design eye/asthetic for the app we wanted to create.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

The proccess of the project while working with the Afterglow team was very smooth. It began with filling out a form, then going over the scope of the entire project. Next we went through the review and signing of a simple/easy to read contract.

After we were able to beging the project seamlesly: going throught the over all design style of the app (colors, font, illustrations, buttons, design elments, pages, clickable prototype), going through changes and updates, and consistnely moving foward through out the whole project with clear communication back and forth.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I worked and communiticated with around four different team members directy. They were all passionte about the project and easy to communicate with within the English language.I communitcated with:

• I worked directly with: Ui/ux Designer: Kate Y.
• Lead Designer: Paul H.
• Designer: Juliana

They  were all very repsonsive and very patcient with every request I had made down to the smallest detail.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I belive I was a very tough client, due to my perfectionism. So I would say they did exceptionaly well regarding the overall direction of the app's design. I defenintly would recomend them to anyone, and I currently lookforward to work with them again in the the future.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow went exceptionally well based on all of the small to large changes I had requested. Despite the project being very exstensive and having a lot of diffrent parts, they were patcient in understanding every aspect and executing many diffrent design request.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their efficiency, responsiveness, and effort in wanting to help produce a great design were impressive. They realy do have a talented team of designers.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I can say that not every project will go 100% perfect at all times, but to be honest I don't have any recommendations on imporevments, and within any projects there are most likely to be small bumbs here and there.

We needed help designing digital collectibles relevant to our mission, and Afterglow was our top choice for this project

How did you select this vendor?

We had been following Afterglow on Dribbble for 2 year, and when we came up with the concept we reached out to Afterglow first

Afterglow team was quick to respond to us as soon as we requested to discuss the project with them. We set up a discovery call where introduced ourselves and the project to Afterglow. After that we submitted documents, moodboards and concepts for the project which enabled Afterglow to come up with a plan, quotes, required resources and timeline. Once we agreed on working terms, Afterglow team got to work and keep us in the loop for the duration of the project.

The working teams consisted of business development manager, illustrator and design team

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Afterglow completed the project in way shorter time than we expected. This was instrumental to us moving quickly in the digital collectible market

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had an efficient and effective workflow using shared work on Figma. We were able to collaborate effectively using shared transforms.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their business manager Lana was very professional and attentive to our needs. She ensured that we were kept in the loop at every stage. Their illustrators and designers were very talented, allowing us to produce amazing designs in the shortest amount of time possible

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No. Their service was perfect!
