Acolono adapted their service from a baseline maintenance + on top projects on demand mode, to a delivery to a monthly sprint-like basis. 
While this journey is still progressing, it definitely serves our needs to be more adaptive to change requirements. We have implemented a mutually agreed upon regular scheme of review and retrospective that helps us to continously advance together.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Acolono is (at least today) focused Drupal CMS develoment company.

On a baseline,  they are highly professional and accountable. The conversations are very respectful, frank and straight up. 

What is most impressive is their stand on open source technology and tools (while being adaptive on license based software, too, if required). All team members are sympathetic, solution-oriented, helpful personalities. As a company, they are on the look how to connect our Drupal core with services and tools and thrive a conntected ecosystem.

Are there any areas for improvement or something acolono GmbH could have done differently?

They could listen/check-in to listen to our developments or needs or propose projects more proactively.
