I am a certified public accountant working independently.

I hired them to outsource accounting back-office tasks like monthly bookkeeping, tax preparation, and financial reporting.

My primary goal was to ease my workload and get accurate books by the end of the month.

How did you select this vendor?

I did a look-up on Clutch as well as a few other websites, shortlisted some of the service providers, and eventually hired Accounting To Taxes after having an in-depth conversation with their accounting team head.

At the initial level, I was assigned a team of two resources who understood my requirements in detail and started with the trial. After the trial ended, we finalized an hourly price for the work to be performed. I was also assigned an experienced quality analyst and a supervisor to review the work and to make sure that the processes were handled smoothly.

Describe their billing or cost structure.

As per my business set-up, an hourly rate was a more feasible option. They also had a full-time and per-need basis plan for accounting services. Their hourly price is $10, and the client is billed every month for the tasks performed.

What was the team composition?

As per my project requirement, I needed two resources to manage all the tasks. Accounting To Taxes also assigned a QA expert and a supervisor who regularly interacted with me to discuss the tasks accomplished and progress made.

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

There has been a tremendous positive change with regard to the handling of processes, time management, profits earned, and overall efficiency. I’ve gotten my work done on time, especially during the tax season when my clients were close to their deadlines. The most important factor to consider is the error-free reporting that was done, which ultimately saved me time and effort.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They ensured that all the transactions between me and their team were seamless. The reporting was accurate and on-time. The communication was consistent, and they picked up the processes pretty fast. There haven’t been a lot of problems during the transition. The team held calls with me to gain clarity on minor errors that occurred occasionally, and thereafter took appropriate measures to rectify them.

Their timely delivery of projects and quality of work are commendable.

Are there any areas for improvement?
