I’m the director of an IT consulting firm that specializes in healthcare, fintech, and electronic medical claims processing.
 

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Ability Network?

We were looking to improve our integration with electronic medical records (EMR) and electronic health records (EHR). This integration is important for tracking, logging, recording, and processing insurance claims and patient eligibility.
 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Ability Network created EMR and EHR integrations for a dental group that my firm is partnered with. This allows us to confirm patient eligibility, benefits, and coverage so that we can give the client a scenario of different, financially sound options. Essentially, this integration encourages extra transparency while ensuring that both the patient and the care provider are getting the maximum benefit.

What is the team composition?

I only worked with a few team members from Ability Network.

How did you come to work with Ability Network?

I previously consulted for their firm, so I was familiar with Ability Network. I knew that they were one of the few teams that would definitely be able to take care of the clients’ needs in regards to getting the full depth of insight into patient eligibility. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in February 2017, and the engagement is still ongoing. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Ability Network has provided good services and a good project. The medical billing industry is meant to be complicated by nature, so there’s only so much streamlining you can really do. With their product, getting clients onboarded and set up isn’t too difficult, and everything is user-friendly. 

How did Ability Network perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management is good — implementation and onboarding were both quite easy. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

What’s most impressive is their customer-centric approach. Ability Network really wants to ensure that all the clients are taken care of and happy. That’s a great strength to have in this industry because not every company has the time or bandwidth to provide personalized, good-natured service. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

There are no improvements that I would ask for.
