BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

At the time I was the Data Analyst for a fleet management company thousands of customers.

For what projects/services did your company hire Aays Analytics?

We had hundreds of BI reports in a system that was scheduled for decommissioning in a tight deadline. Aays were hired to migrate the entire report solution so that no dependencies to the old system remained.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Aays were already onboarded when I took on the project.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

First Aays reverse engineered our sparsely documented solution and built several Power BI data models which matched our legacy system. Aays then developed an embedding and scheduling framework based heavily on our inputs and requirements. Aays worked extensively with stakeholders to ensure the customer facing delivery was refined and of high quality.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

This fluctuated between 3 and 10 as demand changed. Roles included, project manager, data engineers, BI developers, data scientists, software developers.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We were able to deprecate the legacy system in time, without loss of functionality to clients. The project was a success.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was made effective by Aays attention to their customer (our) needs. As dynamics and requirements changed so did Aays adapt their way of working.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Aays Analytics proved through action and delivery that they value their customer.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

At the time Aays was a very young company, I was impressed by their adaptability.
