My company is a writing one that caters to my creative side and also includes a podcast platform. I am the lead creative and editor for both the blog and podcast

I hired 5th Brand to build a website and brand logo for Twisted Empress. My goal was to have a website that caters to both my writing and podcast, synching all my work in one place to allow easy navigation for both worlds.

I selected this vendor based on a previous working relationship. Their work ethic was impeccable and the step by step communication with the clients was pleading. The end product met the clients' needs and vision.

The work involved creating a brand logo for the company and building a website that caters for the blog (writing needs) and podcast. The key deliverables included a website that is easily navigable both on mobile and pc, email correspondence and website branding. Technology used was WordPress.

The point of contact was the lead designer, not sure how many others were on board but there was the back end web developer as well.

After launching the website, there has been an increase in traffic and ease of uploading content .

We had both daily and weekly conversations to vet the progress and consult on details such as website feel and colors. The project was broken down into timelines that suit my initial launch day and timelines were met in good time.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The communication and constant consultation to suit the website's personal feel as envisioned were very impressive.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

After launching the website, there was trouble loading the pages and after communicating the same, they moved the website to a different server that was faster to load the websites and more secure.

I’m the director and founder of a company that sells food internationally, dealing with importing and exporting processes.

What business challenge were you trying to address with 5th Brand Africa?

We needed to have a presence in the digital space, so I brought in 5th Brand Africa to help us with branding.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We initially gave 5th Brand Africa an idea of what we wanted, and their agent helped us create our website and email address to get all of our communication channels operational.

They also helped us develop the content for our website. It is very informative about what we do and how we can help our customers. To place orders, customers contact us directly by email.

Additionally, 5th Brand Africa helped us create our logo. For this, we explained how we wanted it to look based on our company’s inspiration and beliefs. They’re currently in charge of our website’s maintenance, and now, we’re thinking about doing SEO and social media marketing.

I work only with one person from 5th Brand Africa, who is a web developer.

I was referred to them by someone who worked with them to develop their website.

I’ve invested around $500 with them.

We began working together around April 2021, and the partnership is still ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

5th Brand Africa helped us establish our company online. I wouldn't say that we have more business than before, but we now have an established business because of what they’ve created for us.

To get more customers, potential clients need to have more information about our company. Now, they can get that information from our website.

How did 5th Brand Africa perform from a project management standpoint?

5th Brand Africa has done a great job. We’re always in constant communication with the web developer, monitoring the progress, approving the deliverables, and sharing ideas.

We mainly communicate through phone calls and WhatsApp messages. They’re always available despite our different time zones, and we’re able to communicate at any time.

What did you find most impressive about them?

5th Brand Africa is very good at listening to us and responding to our needs; we’re very happy with the outcome.

Any areas they could improve?

5th Brand Africa could improve on how they explain everything at the beginning. For example, they didn't mention that the website development included creating our email addresses, so we spent extra money purchasing our email domains on Google Workspace, and we had a lot of difficulties. However, they assisted us in sorting those challenges.

 Any advice for potential customers?

Make sure that they explain everything well at the beginning to understand what their scope entails.

I am the Co-owner and Founder, Carl Tours and Travel is a specialist safari operator with offices in the Kenya. We arrange custom safaris to all the top safari and travel destinations throughout Southern and East Africa, including the Nairobi National Park, Tsavo Game Reserve, Victoria Falls, Okavango Delta, Serengeti, Masai Mara and more both locally and internationally.

We were recommend 5th Brand as one of our options by an agency. After reviewing all the reference we contacted 5th Brand Africa based on the samples we recieved from them.

5th Brand Designed help us through choosing the name, designing the logo, choosing the colours then development of the website.

How many resources from the 5th Brand Africa team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Two. One was the web developer who did the website and the other one was a designer that meet us during the early days of the project to discuss colours and about the company.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The process was smooth and streamlined. They advised us on ways to a approach the project. Initially we were torn between having an app or website. Based on their advice owing to the factor that we were small and the field of work we do it was best to start with a website. The website was developed faster and in less than 3 weeks we already had a good progress on the website.

They also were able to integrate forms to our website of which we have used to collect information from our clients.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The web developer was responsive when called upon. When not available he always schedule a physical meeting, a zoom call or call back as soon a he was available.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their ability to interpret what we desired has been satisfying.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

An improvement can be done on cost.
