I’m the CEO of Pre/Dicta Legal Analytics, a legal AI company that uses behavioral and statistical analysis to predict case outcomes, judicial rulings, and litigation timelines, helping litigators and in-house teams make data-driven decisions.

What challenge were you trying to address with 5IVE – Product Experience?

We needed support with UX/UI design for our legal technology.

What was the scope of their involvement?

5IVE – Product Experience has designed the entire UX/UI for our legal technology. This has required multiple iterations as both the scope and purpose of the software have changed. The team has delivered wireframes, prototypes, final UI designs, and design systems.

We’ve worked with 2–5 teammates from 5IVE – Product Experience.

How did you come to work with 5IVE – Product Experience?

We found 5IVE – Product Experience through an online search. We chose them because their pricing fit our budget, they were a great culture fit, and they offered good value for the cost.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with 5IVE – Product Experience in June 2019, and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The end state of the UI is outstanding. It’s entirely intuitive and able to distill and display highly complex information in a way that’s immediately clear. Regularly, our clients and prospective clients who see our technology are quickly impressed by the interface.

They almost always comment on how attractive it looks and how easy it is to use. We’ve also noticed a significant increase in interest in the product with 5IVE – Product Experience’s updates, including more engaging demos and increased client inquiries.

How did 5IVE – Product Experience perform from a project management standpoint?

5IVE – Product Experience’s project management is great, and they've delivered on time. We communicate via in-person meetings, virtual meetings, and email or messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The entire 5IVE – Product Experience team is extremely skilled. Although they had no background in the complexities of the American legal system, they quickly learned and managed to design within that framework. They are some of the brightest and most efficient teammates we collaborate with. 5IVE has significantly enhanced the UX/UI design. Generally, they’re willing to challenge and critique designs and strategies, which has consistently led to a better product.

Additionally, 5IVE – Product Experience recruits and nurtures excellent talent. The challenge of UX/UI design lies in its requirement for both logical (right brain) and visual (left brain) skills. They can recognize individuals with this unique ability. Moreover, they are highly efficient. In just a two-hour session, we can achieve what might take multiple meetings with other vendors.
