I’m the director of brand development at Fatamorgana Gelato. We make Italian gelato in LA.

What challenge were you trying to address with 598 Los Angeles?

We hired them to handle our SEO.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They created campaigns on Facebook for all of the campaigns that we were running on other platforms including Instagram. All of it was paid advertising. 

For example, we had gelato sushi on our menu and we knew that it had the potential to be something great. However, it hadn’t been selling well. As a result, they developed ads and launched them.

Then, we’re currently finishing up our website and we assigned them to manage the SEO efforts of our platform. Their SEO services include keyword tracking and optimization. The team is helping us in the conceptualization stage. We create the content and they’re the ones helping us choose which copy we should use on the site.

The company’s owner is my friend and when I found out that he had built 598 Los Angeles, I decided to give their services a try.

We’ve spent less than $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our engagement began in October 2020, and we’re still working together.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Everything has been great and they really work to make everything perfect. As an example, when we created ads for our gelato sushi, the product took off. 

How did 598 Los Angeles perform from a project management standpoint?

We usually communicate through phone calls and emails. I like that they always provide feedback.

I’ve only worked with Ignacio and he’s very personable. He’s always on top of everything and he has reminded us of a lot of things that we needed to do. Overall, they have a great structure. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I appreciate that I only work with one person. I’ve worked with various companies and they always start the engagement with one main point of contact, and then they give you to someone else. 

Ignacio knows exactly what we need and has helped us with many other things beyond what we specifically hired him for. He has also assisted in our quest to hire someone for our website. Moreover, he’s very creative and he goes above and beyond to deliver. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I honestly don’t think they have any areas they could improve.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

You will be successful if you hire 598 Los Angeles. They're never going to sell anything that they don't 100% believe in.
