We sell our products on multiple platforms. We needed an agency to help us with Shopify and Amazon, and use platforms like Google, Facebook, and other marketing channels to drive sales.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

After interviewing a number of potential partners we decided go go with 3SigmaDigital. They didn't pitch us fluff, but direct action that can be taken to help improve our overall performance.

The agency did an audit which identified a number of areas we could improve upon. We then created a pretty list based upon areas that would have the maximum impact on our growth. Finally we created a plan for how to implement our overall strategy as well as communication between the teams.

We work with an account manager, and digital strategist.

The ongoing project has garnered success by increasing our marketing budget on one of our platforms were were able to increase sales by 50%.

The workflow was very effective. 3SigmaDigital is very responsive. Which we deem as critical when working with and agency.

They go into detail to explain every part of the process. Very thorough reporting.

Corey and his agency were hired to manage our paid media advertising for our Shopify store from February to July 2024. The scope of work included setting up and optimizing our digital advertising campaigns across various platforms, with a primary focus on Google (Shopping and Performance Max) ads. Key deliverables included:

• Campaign Setup: Initial setup of advertising campaigns, including audience targeting, ad creation, and budget allocation.
• Optimization: Ongoing optimization of campaigns to improve performance metrics such as click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, and return on ad spend (ROAS).
• Reporting: Regular performance reports to track campaign success and provide insights for further improvements.
• Consultation: Regular meetings to discuss campaign performance, strategies, and adjustments based on analytics and feedback.
• Documentation: Comprehensive documentation and guidance on managing the ad account, including adding and categorizing new products.

Despite these initial agreements, the relationship was marred by unexpected rate increases, unprofessional termination of the contract, and withholding of essential data and reports.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

During our project with Corey, focused on Shopping and PMAX campaigns, we observed several measurable outcomes that demonstrated initial progress and success:

• Increased Traffic: Our Shopify store experienced a significant increase in traffic driven by optimized Shopping and PMAX campaigns.
• Improved CTR: The click-through rates (CTR) for our Shopping ads improved, indicating better targeting and ad relevance.
• Higher Conversion Rates: There was a noticeable improvement in conversion rates, with a greater number of visitors completing purchases.
• Enhanced ROAS: Return on ad spend (ROAS) showed a positive trend, reflecting more efficient use of our advertising budget and higher revenue from the campaigns.
• Regular Reporting: Detailed performance reports were provided, offering insights into campaign performance and suggesting areas for further optimization.

While these outcomes were promising, the project's overall success was compromised by unprofessional conduct, abrupt termination, and withholding of essential data and reports.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Corey's project management left much to be desired. While he initially delivered items on time and set up our Shopping and PMAX campaigns effectively, issues quickly arose.

• Timeliness: At the beginning, Corey adhered to deadlines and delivered campaign setups and optimizations promptly. However, as the project progressed, communication became less consistent and delays occurred more frequently.
• Responsiveness: Initially, Corey was responsive to our needs, addressing concerns and making necessary adjustments during our regular meetings. However, after his agency's rate increase, his responsiveness declined significantly. Our requests for data and reports were often met with delays or ignored.
• Adaptability: While Corey showed some adaptability in adjusting campaigns based on performance data, his unwillingness to provide essential documentation and reports, especially towards the end of our engagement, highlighted a lack of commitment to our needs.

Overall, while there were some positives in the initial stages, the decline in project management quality and responsiveness significantly impacted our experience.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What stood out most about Corey's company, unfortunately, were the negative aspects. Midway through our engagement, Corey unexpectedly demanded a significant rate increase to continue working with us, which felt unjustified given the value provided. He reduced the frequency and quality of optimizations, and his responsiveness declined. Moreover, he refused to offer insightful recommendations that could have benefited our campaigns. It became clear that our business was being treated as an afterthought rather than a priority.

Are there any areas for improvement or something 3Sigma Digital could have done differently?

There are several areas where this agency could have improved:

• Consistency in Communication: Regular and clear communication is essential. As the project progressed, there was a noticeable decline in responsiveness and updates, which hindered our ability to make informed decisions.
• Transparency in Pricing: The unexpected rate increase midway through the project was a major issue. Transparent pricing from the start, with clear justifications for any changes, would have been more professional and acceptable.
• Commitment to Optimization: Continuous and consistent optimizations are crucial for successful campaigns. There was a significant reduction in the quality and frequency of optimizations over time, which negatively impacted campaign performance.
• Provision of Insights and Recommendations: As experts, providing regular, actionable insights and recommendations is expected. Refusing to offer these insights made it difficult for us to understand the direction and potential improvements for our campaigns.
• Professionalism in Termination: The abrupt and unprofessional manner in which the contract was terminated, including withholding essential reports and data, was unacceptable. A smoother, more professional transition process should be standard practice.
• Client Focus: Treating our business with the attention and priority it deserved would have greatly improved our experience. At times, it felt like our business was an afterthought rather than a valued client.
