TEZ TOUR Company is one of the leading tour operators in Russia. Established in 1994. We organize tours to the following destinations: Turkey, Thailand, Egypt, Spain, Cuba and Dominican Republic, Maldives and Greece. TEZ TOUR consists of 17 international branches. Our tourists fly from Russia, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Belorussia, Baltic countries and Kazakhstan. TEZ TOUR has representative offices for incoming tourists in Turkey, Spain, Egypt, Thailand, Dominican Republic, Sri Lanka, Cuba, Maldives and Greece. My posistion was as in this projebt as leading project manager.

For what projects/services did your company hire 3DTOUR?

We had to create virtual reality content on the basis of aerial shooting and 3d panoramas for a few resorts.

What were your goals for this project?

The team had to complete footage of more than 100 hotels in a very short time frame in 6 different regions. They did the aerial shooting and some parts of the ground shooting.

We have been working with 3DTOUR on VR tour in Egypt some time ago and invited them for this project.

It happened to be a tourist season and 3DTOUR had to fit in with the hotels schedules -- that’s why our marketing and operations departments were always in touch with the team, coordinating the process in order not to put in trouble the hotels and provide suitable conditions for a proper shooting.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We now have these materials on our website, they are very popular among our audience. In comparison to photos, which are made from a particular angle, it’s an immersive content, which provides deeper engagement, gives a whole picture of a place for potential vacation.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Great! We’ve been on one page throughout the whole process and developed trustful relations.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

It was a very important piece of work for us and we wanted to involve true professionals. And we knew we were on the safe side with 3DTOUR. 3DTOUR met deadlines and provided us with an amazing product.

Are there any areas for improvement?

No, I don’t think so. We are really satisfied with their work. It was an amazing experience and I hope we’ll work together in the future.

For what projects/services did your company hire 3DTOUR ?

Cut a long story short, we needed a vivid presentation of our manufacture.

What were your goals for this project?

This product should have a presentation and information function. Arterium Corporation participates in many conferences and exhibitions. And there are also quite a number of people who want to look at the process of manufacturing drugs from the middle.Therefore, it was decided to create a virtual demonstration of our production capacity.

How did you select this vendor?

The 3DTOUR company was selected through a tender by our company. Of the many companies, only three were allowed to participate in the tender. 3DTOUR was the winner in the price / quality ratio.

The team created for us a VR tour to present at exhibitions, conferences. We show it for students and newcomers, helping them to acquaint with our internal processes. Also we have a OEM manufacturing, and use this content as a part of our pitching to potential clients.

3 operators, designer, 2 technical designers, post production editor and project manager.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The video is on website, and according to the analytics, it is very popular among English-speaking audience. Overall, this VR tour is a great help for us when it comes to presenting and telling about our company. The manufacturing is quite big, and it can be especially hard to explain specifics of production departments and cover all aspects of process. So each head of a department is actively using the video in their presentations -- on conferences, for partners, for future employees. Moreover, there are some areas that have limited access, so we have filmed the processes there and now all we need to do is just show the video without interrupting the process. This video helps us show that our manufacture is compliant with GMP standards. We show this video to different audiences and it works better than any words. As we all know, seeing is believing.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Very well. We had an effective communication via convenient messaging platform and mutual understanding with the team in general.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I guess the fact that the team had to work in specific industrial conditions: the process is quite monotonous, and it is necessary to capture the most interesting and essential moments on each stage and in every production department. Not to mention that guys had to wear a special uniform all the time. That didn’t affect the quality, they managed to cope with their tasks perfectly and in time.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Actually nothing stands out. We have found a common ground with the team and the workflow was smooth, so I can only recommend them.

We needed a company, that have experience in VR and visualisation. We needed to make an innovative solution.

What were your goals for this project?

We needed a complex and innovative solution for presenting our new residential complex Spass Sky. VR solution was a great idea.

How did you select this vendor?

My team and I have been searching by the market to find the right company for this project and potentially a long term partnership. We have chosen 3DTOUR from a selection of companies and start a smal test project. In that small experimental test we created a pilot project and saw true potentioal of 3DTOUR team. We were satisfied with the result and select them to work on our BIG project.

It’s a huge object, which was not built yet at the time we hired 3DTOUR. And we needed to start running marketing campaign and sales. That required a wide range of visuals -- from classic general views to VR presentation in a special VR room. What was special about this project is that in includes overview of a building with surroundings, and a walkthrough in every apartment with the realistic view.

What was the team composition?

3DTOUR teamon tis project was 2 modellers, one technical designer and project manager. On our side there was one project manager/koodinator.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

I think the most vivid evidence of success of this project is amazing feedback form our potential customers, who actually converted into our buyers. This helped them to buy the apartment they really felt for due to experiencing it in VR solution. Moreover, technologically it’s a huge step forward for us. We ensured such solution is worth it and we’ll continue to use it in our future projects. And it’s also a competitive differentiation for us, very few companies in Ukraine involve Virtual reality into their campaigns. Our company made a huge breaktrough for that taime and become an innovative leader in ukrainian real estate market.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Great, we established stable and convenient connection for both sides, communicated via telegram messenger and by phone. Their project manager is very responsive.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The result exceeded our expectations. Not least because of we both were really involved and we were seeing eye to eye. I didn’t have to push guys. They were interested in the results as much as we were. And I’m so glad that we did a great job which is pretty unique for our real estate market and overall had an exciting experience.

Are there any areas for improvement?

There nothing to say for this project.They are professionals and delivered a good project that met our needs. We are both gain great experience from this project, and wil use it in next projects.

I’m Aleksey Kulik, the CMO of Ukrbud. We're the largest construction company in Ukraine, uniting dozens of state and private enterprises all over the country.

What challenge were you trying to address with 3DTOUR??

We were in the middle of constructing our new residential complex Spas Sky and LA MANCHE. We required high-quality visual solutions for our marketing campaigns and sales departments.

Apart from that, we've already had quite a few built and unbuilt objects, and we wanted to create a complex visual solution to display buildings and their locations.

What was the scope of their involvement?

For both of our residential complexes, we not only wanted to create only classic panoramic views and traditional real estate presentations, but also to incorporate innovative visual solutions into campaigns. 

Together with the 3DTOUR team, we’ve come up with real-time visualizations for touch table showcases for our sales department, VR-presentations in specially equipped VR rooms, and a projection video for a projection room. 

What’s special about this project is that it includes an overview of a building along with its surroundings. There’s also a walkthrough in every apartment that shows a realistic view.

As for the map, 3DTOUR offered to create aerial shots of the objects to show panoramic views from windows. The residential complexes are widely scattered all over Kyiv city, and we didn’t have a broad picture. Some time later, we came up with an idea to combine them into a major solution. 

So, based on the aerial shots, 3DTOUR created high-quality VR content, including a map with plotted residential complexes and 3D panoramas that showed the view from a building’s windows. 

What is the team composition? 

Overall, we involved over 10 people for these projects.

How did you come to work with 3DTOUR?

We’ve been working with 3DTOUR for a while and had a couple of small projects completed. When it came to serious and grand-scale projects, we had no doubts about involving 3DTOUR.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve worked with them for eight months between 2016–2017 and another four months between 2018–2019.

We started back in 2016 with a small piece of work: the aerial shots for a couple of our residential complexes. We didn't expect that to scale as much as it did. But then we saw the opportunity for a much more sophisticated solution and decided to go with it. 

So, we've spent over half a year to complete it and achieved a great result. We cooperated closely. They quickly got us what exactly we wanted in the end, were opened to our suggestions, and were proactive on their end.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Regarding the virtual tours created by the 3DTOUR team, they are now active sales assets for our team. 

Our sales reps work with customers in a specially equipped VR room (which was also organized by 3DTOUR) using HTC Vive pro headset. The space of the room gives our clients a deeper level of immersion than a regular office presentation because there are no obstructions nor distractions. Moreover, it's always available and set up, which saves time. 

The map is also an effective tool for our sales department. We’re able to inform our buyers in much more detail then we used to. They can not only check out buildings, but also views and locations. It's a complete showing of our residential complexes, and a flexible instrument for our marketing campaigns—we can choose any VR tour of any object and place it in any website needed. 

Overall, it’s a huge step forward for us technologically. But, of course, the most vivid evidence of our VR projects' success is the amazing feedback from our potential customers, who have converted into buyers.

What did you find most impressive about them?

3DTOUR team is a pro team. They are open to our ideas and are always willing to share their vision and make suggestions. They bring their A-game and deliver everything on time. We can trust them and be sure that we’ll get high-quality materials. 

How did 3DTOUR perform from a project management standpoint?
They were good. The communication was well-established, and we could always chat quickly via Telegram or phone. The approval processes were quite quick. Everything was transparent, and we developed a mutual understanding.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They are high-caliber professionals, and I don't see anything that I'd like to improve at this point. We are completely satisfied with the job they did for us.
