I am the Director of Daniel’s Custom Care. We are an NDIS service provider, providing care to our clients all around Melbourne Victoria

For what projects/services did your company hire 1800 We Store It?

We integrated their services with helping our clients move locations, and/or store items. We also stored our own items with them and had them delivered to clients when needed

How did you select this firm and what were the deciding factors?

We consulted with many different storage & moving providers. 1800 we store it seemed to have the best service available. They weren’t as cheap as other competitors, however, they had certain procedures in place that made them more reliable/trustworthy so we decided to work with them as we did not want any unexpected issues to occur

Describe the project in detail and walk through their service package.

1800 we store it is responsible for picking items up from the client’s location of order, then either storing them until needed or moving the items straight away directly to the client’s order location. 1800 we store it is also responsible for storing the business’ items on an ongoing basis and transporting them when needed.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Our main point of contact was the international sales manager and the team was quite large & organised. Can’t say how many people we worked with as there were a few different removalists involved depending on the day, location etc

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

Having 1800 we store it handle the moving & storage process has significantly decreased issues that usually occur in the process. Next to none damages occurred to clients items and if there was any damges, there was insurance in place which helped lessen my costs aswell.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very effective, I would directly call the international sales manager when needed and everything would be organised within 5 minutes

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their reliability and service. The stress they take off your shoulders is something that money cannot put a price on.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

A few areas they were unable to service due to being out of range etc. If they decide to improve on that then that would be very beneficial
