BACKGROUND

I am the CEO of a research firm in Michigan that caters to the oil and energy industries. We help oil industry companies be more productive and efficient. 

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

I needed to find a development company that could deliver accurate algorithmic code for my client systems. I needed a flexible team with fair pricing.

SOLUTION

I asked my network for firm recommendations and was referred to Zetagile by a good friend. I decided to give them a try because I had heard positive feedback. The system that they created helped clean and prepare the data for pre-processing.

I don't remember the exact project cost, but it was near $300,000. It was a large project that required many developers on their end.

Zetagile is fast, eager, professional, and loves to please clients. I am happy with their work. They stand out because of their speed of delivery. That is the main thing I remember about our engagement.

I have no major complaints about them because our large project was successful. I would highly recommend them to others.

We're largely a cyber security company. We build products for a few different purposes.

I am the vice president of West Coast operations.

What business challenge were you trying to address with Zetagile Info Solutions?

Zetagile did offshore sustaining work for our legacy product line. Their engagement was constrained to sustaining support on a very complicated data platform. Their work allowed us to free up our development team.

SOLUTION

What is the status of this engagement?

We finalized the engagement in August. Until recently, we did all the development work ourselves with our engineers in Silicon Valley. We chose to offshore this part as well. We did consider Zetagile for this, but ended up choosing another firm, primarily because that other firm had a presence in Silicon Valley that Zetagile did not. It was in no way, shape, or form reflective on the work that Zetagile had done for us.

Could you share any statistics or metrics from this engagement?

Zetagile was responsive, competent, and did high-quality work. I don't have any specific metrics, but I would definitely recommend them to any other customer.

How did Zetagile Info Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

They did a fine job getting the work done quickly and were organized.

What distinguishes Zetagile Info Solutions from other providers?

They have competent people. In some cases, they are stronger than our own team. Zetagile acts quickly, given the time difference. On other factors, like the quality of their work, how often they make mistakes, and how well they follow instructions, I also give them extremely high marks.

Is there anything Zetagile Info Solutions could have improved or done differently?

If they had a local presence in the United States, our decision to use them further would have changed. Ultimately, the product knowledge of the other company was also hard for us to ignore. If they're looking to engage with U.S. companies, they'd probably have to have a very small U.S. presence.

It's very hard for us to deal with different time zones. We need someone locally that is accountable, and can communicate with the company in India, so that we don't have to get up in the middle of the night.
