What stands out most about Zealth is their ability to seamlessly blend technical expertise with a deep understanding of UX and business goals. They didn’t just focus on delivering a visually appealing website; they also prioritized SEO, performance optimization, and user-centric design, all while staying aligned with our broader objectives.  I would be remiss if I didn't point out how difficult this task was - trying to make the new look engaging while also balancing the usability needed for a client group that averages 65+ years in age.

I'm a co-founder of Rival 11 Studios, a Chicago-based digital design & strategy agency helping organizations design successful websites, mobile apps and digital marketing programs.

We wanted to create a website that allowed us to showcase our work in a better way. Our current website was created in-house, was no longer servicing our needs and was not the best representation of where we were as a company.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We had worked with Zealth on multiple projects in the past. Their team has an appreciation for design, which gives them the ability to take files from a design team and translate them into pixel perfect designs every time. This, combined with great communication during the lifecycle of the project and the the extensive QA process made them a perfect partner for us.

UX and Design was handled in-house so Zealth was hired to create custom HTML/CSS, then develop that into an easy-to-maintain WordPress theme for us. Once the site fully QA'd by the Zealth team, they sent us a link for final testing before go-live.

We worked with two people, one from a Project Management side who maintained regular communication with us and one person from the Development team.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The site is still in its infancy and still being regularly populated on our end. Additionally, the primary objective of our site is not to drive traffic but merely to inform the visitors of our service offerings and showcase our work.

Zealth makes it extremely easy and flexible to communicate with them. They use Teamwork for project management, tasking and bulk of the communication, but are also available via Slack and email. Additionally, they provide things such as video screen recordings for more complex questions or functionality walk-throughs.

It's rare to find a partner who is extremely knowledgable in their field, very communicative and cares a great deal both about the design and development of their clients digital experiences, and Zealth has all those qualities and more.

Not from our experience.

Meadows Publishing Solutions develops commercial and custom software products for the print and electronic publishing markets. Our primary brand is a variable data software product called DesignMerge, which is sold through OEM and other distribution channels. My position is as President and co-founder of the company.

For what projects/services did your company hire Zealth Digital Marketing, and what were your goals?

We needed to complete update our entire web site, which at the time was a static HTML site with outdated design and content. I wanted to work with a local company in the USA on the project rather than outsource to who knows where. Our goal was to develop a website that we could be proud to send customers to. The site was to serve as the primary information portal for all of our software products, including access to related web and video content.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

This started with a Google search looking for web developers located in the Chicago area. The team at Zealth was located close by, but in the end we really only needed to meet with their team in person one time. The remainder of the development occurred online using collaborative design and reporting tools provided by Zealth.

Based on an initial discussion, and a general overview of the current and revised site navigation, we were then put in touch with a designer to prototype the site using Adobe XD. There were a number of back and forth rounds of updates, but eventually we had a beautiful prototype ready and approved by our team. The next step after that was to launch the site using a temporary URL.

Our team then updated all of the content in preparation for the site launch. The Zealth team was always available and responsive when something came up (our team was not well-versed in Wordpress, which is the platform we wanted to use). Zealth assisted us in understanding how to edit and manage the web site, which was invaluable.

Our team had direct contact with two people, one on the technical/implementation side, and another on the design side.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Once we launched our site, the sales team was no longer embarrassed to send customers to the site. With all of the video content we posted, along with the new, responsive web pages, we have received very many compliments for our customers. The updated site has also shortened the sales cycle for our products because all of the information is now posted in a beautiful and navigable web site.

Generally when we are contacted now the customer has already advanced in the sales process because of the information now hosted on the new site. The built-in forms processing was a great addition as well and has allowed us to easily track customer downloads and information requests.

Communication was loose as we did not have a defined timeline for project completion. All communication was via emai, but we did have to webinar meetings to review various site elements. Most of our time was spent communicating with the design team, tweaking various elements of the site content. In this respect Adobe XD software was a wonderful way to fully visualize what was to be the final deliverable.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The most impressive thing for our team was the responsiveness and depth of knowledge that we received from the Zealth team. Although we are a software company, our knowledge of web technologies was fairly limited to HTML, PHP, and JavaScript. Having never worked on a responsive web site it was really nice to have a team available with so much experience.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I would not change very much about the process. Overall this has been a very positive experience for us, and in fact we are already on to another web site project with the Zealth team for one of our OEM partners. If there are bugs that show up, the Zealth team addressed them quickly.

There was a bit of fixing one thing happened to break another thing that was previously approved, so the only thing I'd change would be to maintain separate versions of the site or preview for each round of proofing. In this fashion you can always refer to the previous version to compare pages. Most of these issues were related to style sheet changes on the site, and some issues we encountered were related to different devices and browsers, which of course is to be expected.

I’m an e-commerce and operations manager for Crane, a home appliances manufacturer.

When I joined our company last year, we were getting ready to launch a new brand, which is a new line of modern nursery bedding and decor. It was a very modern brand, so we needed a company that could design and develop a modern-looking website for us.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Zealth Digital Marketing designed and developed a WooCommerce site for us. They started the engagement by presenting us with a brand aesthetic that the website would have, which was very in line with what I was looking for in terms of its look and feel. They then led an intro call, where we discussed the site’s features and functionality.

We worked hand-in-hand throughout the site’s development. We leaned on them for some advice on the aesthetic and functionality of the site. They advised us on what and how many plug-ins and features to implement to stand out from our competitors whilst maintaining a health speed. They also guided us on where to put certain elements and media on the site.

Aside from that, they also handle the site’s SEO. They optimized the descriptions on our product listings and imported all of the products into the new site. We’ve already launched the site, and they’re in charge of providing ongoing maintenance and support. We’re also planning on revamping our other site as well with them in the near future.

We’ve worked with Adam (President) as well as an SEO writer and a web designer from Zealth Digital Marketing.

I did some research and talked to a couple of local companies because I wanted a company that was in the same timezone as us and could provide immediate IT support as needed. The previous development company that we worked with was based in India, and there was too much of a time difference between us to be as productive as I wanted.

After finding Zealth Digital Marketing, I reached out to Adam and got a really good feeling from their company. Their reviews were also very positive, so we decided to go forward with them for this project.

We’ve spent between $30,000-$35,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in October 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Everybody who has seen the new website has been very thrilled about how beautiful it is. Because we sell nursery decor, our primary target audience are women between the ages of 25-35. Zealth Digital Marketing managed to exactly hit the aesthetic that we were looking for. 

Anybody who has seen the site has just really been impressed with it, not just from a marketing and a design perspective but also from a user standpoint. It's very easy to use, there's nothing difficult about it, and it looks great.

How did Zealth Digital Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

Zealth Digital Marketing has performed well in terms of project management. They communicate well and have been quick in implementing changes and feedback and turning deliverables around even while they had other projects going on.

We communicate through Slack, Zoom, phone calls, and emails, but the main thing that we use is a ticketing software.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m most impressed with Zealth Digital Marketing’s effective communication. They’re incredibly transparent — they have been honest in telling us what they could do for us and what they couldn’t. They’re not going to act like they can do something and then deliver an inferior product.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Make sure to match their responsiveness and communication level. If you do the same, you’re guaranteed to have a product that you will be proud of in no time.

My partner and I own a small business that specializes in large format commercial printing. We do both local commercial printing and online sales. This website was focused to the online sales portion of our business. I am the primary employee of the business.

Zealth was recommended to us by a friend. After speaking to Adam, we decided that he would be able to meet our needs for a website and his pricing was very competetive.

I gave Adam stuff and he and his team made a website. In all seriousness, this is not exactly my area of expertise. He asked for what he needed, he created and implemented the website and integrated apps. It came out awesome.

Three. I am unsure of their position titles as I was able to be very handsoff in this project which is exactly how I wanted it. I did work more closely with one team member and when she did not meet our expectactions, Adam very quickly took over her work to complete our project in a timely manner.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We have had both increased traffic to our website, increased page ranking and increased sales. We are consistently in the top ten on relevent Google searches. We have increased our sales and revenue in the past two years and continue to increase our sales and revenue.

Zealth used a web portal where we could share notes, progress reports and files. Adam set timelines and deadlines through the portal. He was able to give us clear goals in which he needed input from us and allowed us to be very hands off in the process, which is what we needed. He was clear about how us not meeting our timelines might affect the project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Hands down the customer service and professionalism. I can start a support ticket in the evening and usually have an answer within the hour, which is both unnecessary and unheard of from a smaller company.

Zealth, and in particular Adam, is invested in both their business and the business of their clients. They are here to make sure that my business runs better than I run it myself. I can't stress enough how professional and helpful the Zealth team is.

I can't think of any. If I have a problem, which naturally arise in an evolving e-com business, I get a clear solution.

They designed, developed, and helped build in back-end infrastructure to integrate with our CRM software, which was a very critical function for our website that I'm not sure any other team would be able to do as easily and professional as they did.

Our website will be the lifeline of our business since our almost all of our clients will start at our website to get on-boarded with us. It was a critical job and we wouldn't trust any other company than Zealth. Period.

The project management was very professional and fast. The team had to wait on us to make decisions, and it was never the other way around. The quality of their work for the speed that they get the job done is second to none in my opinion.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I cannot think of anything that they can improve upon at this time. Everything was streamlined in the process and clear from the start of the project to the end. No complaints here. Not one.
