The project was to develop a mobile application to manage our employees. It is also to be mentioned that the amount of professionalism and commitment Zartek has put in to our project,we are extremely satisfied with both their work and services provided afterwards,we are definitely considering them for any such related projects which may arise in the future.

What were your goals for this project?

We have over 200 employees working in our offices located all around Kerala. Therefore it was difficult for us to keep track of them,their activities and to meet their needs.So we decided to get a mobile application built to manage all of them.

How did you select this vendor?

I personally searched online for firms providing such services,contacted them via phone and finalized the one which appeared the most feasible.

I made a call to zartek's office based at cochin, booked an appointment the very next day. There we discussed in person with the project manager regarding the features that we needed in the app.

The project Manager kept in contact with me during the development process and hardly within a month the beta build was ready. i was asked to come to their office, to have it checked and to suggest for any alterations if any.

I was extremely satisfied with their build and told them to finalize the build And within a week I got the final apk and related documents via mail.

I was in formed that there are 2 full time developers working along with the project manager assigned by Zartek.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Before we had to personally make phone calls to all our offices for getting attendances,leave allotment and to listen to our employees concerns. Now it's really , all we have to do is to check the app.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Working with Zartek was indeed a delightful experience.The communications went smooth,thanks to the optimum assignment of people by zartek.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

People at Zartek are comprised of a tonne of knowledge and experience in the field of application development. The kind of professionalism and commitment they've put into the work was impressive.

Are there any areas for improvement?

In the light of my experience with zartek, I'd say none.

We hired Zartek for developing and creating new features for our mobile application, DreamKatcher. Zartek provided three dedicated resources to work on the project - 1 Backend Developer, 1 Android Developer & 1 iOS Developer.

What were your goals for this project?

The goal was to revamp the existing platform and add new features into it. Initially, the Zartek team studied the project in detail and then started working on the new features in a weekly sprint.

How did you select this vendor?

We searched for companies providing dedicated developers in Kochi, Kerala. It was important to be in the same location since we had to work closely with them to implement many features. After reviewing 4 to 5 companies, we shortlisted Zartek.

In DreamKatcher, Zartek assigned 3 developers who worked in revamping the existing platform and for adding new features. DreamKatcher is a platform for users to showcase their talent by posting videos for multiple challenges.

What was the team composition?

The team consisted of three engineers who worked dedicated for us - 1 Python Developer, 1 Android Developer, 1 iOS Developer. It also consists of 1 Project Manager.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The team was able to make the app stable and scalable. They also implemented new features in the application and fixed multiple bugs and errors in iOS. The user feedback also improved much better and we received many positive feedback in Apple Appstore and Google Playstore.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The team communicated on a weekly sprint and was managed using Asana and Hubstaff. The project manager also sent weekly reports and responded well to our feedback.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The team was immense knowledge in B2C consumer application and video streaming. They were also flexible when we had to change a resource and replace it with a new engineer.

Are there any areas for improvement?

The team can do better with a CTO who can manage the architecture.

I am the IT Director of the British School which is the branch of a 600 year old reputed school in the UK. I oversee the IT infrastructure and IT services at the school.

Being a new school started in Aug 2019, we just had a landing page as our website. We wanted a fully dynamic, informative and elaborate website that gives all the details regarding the operations of pur school. Zartek was hired to develop our website.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted a website that reflects the theme of our main branch in the UK. We wanted an enquiry form that facilitates visitors to submit enquiries that redirects to our staff. We wanted our internal staff to be able to edit and upload the basic content.

How did you select this vendor?

We searched internet and found some vendors who were reputed in webdesign. We sent enquiries to 6 vendors and requested for porposals. Technical evaluation was done based on our expected design, timeline, project methodology and post implementation service terms.

After technical evaluation, commercial evaluation was done. Zartek's proposal fulfilled all our technical requirements and had provided a good commercial deal. Hence Zartek was selected.

After the vendor was awarded with the project, within 2 weeks they completed the layout design of the website, which was exactly matching the theme of our main branch website.

Once the content was given it was quickly populated to the pages, the enquiry form was made live and the test site was ready in 3 weeks time. With further review fro our side and some suggested edits done, the completed website was uploaded Live in another 10 days time.

What was the team composition?

There was a Project Manager who coordinated with us on all the requirements. Then there was a back end and a front end developer. A lady was assigned for quality assessment, who would regularly review the design and content to make sure it was as per our requirements.

We received a lot of compliments from the website visitors and parents of students, regarding the website. The admission application form was linked to our Management Information System, and hence all applications done via website went directly to our MIS database which made our admission records update automatic, without having to enter manually.

All information required for parents regarding transport, uniforms, activities etc wer e published on the website, hence people had easy access to all the info, instead of calling and enquiring with the school. All the news and circulars were also easily published via website.

There was a project manager from our side, and a project manager from their side. These were the focal points to collect information and coordinate with other members on the respective sides and this process made it very smooth rather than multiple people having to get involved.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

There was a well defined project plan provided to us in the initial stage, and this had the different milestones with target dates. Whatever requirements we had was so easily interpreted and implemented, which showed that they had some of the best expertise in the field.

A lot of innovative suggestions based on latest technologies were provided by them. They adhered to the timelines that were during the project plan and completed the project withing the specified time. Their staff was very cooperative, accommodating, and flexible all throughout the project.

We were very satisfied with their work and would recommend them for similar projects.

We finalised the vendor from the 6 candidates and had meeting with them to discuss in the project in detail. The scope of the project was to deploy the website in domain and make it live along with optimisation for SEO. Zartek gave us clear milestones for delivery and finished the project on time.

Zartek had assigned a project manager to guide us and act as a bridge between the development team and us. They had a Devops engineer and SEO specialist in the main team.

Zartek was able to make the website live in the AWS server and migrated the new data to AWS. They also changed http to https. The site was optimised for search engine also.

The project manager assigned by Zartek made sure there was effective communication between the two companies. Zartek updated us the status of the project in weekly calls.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Zartek has a great depth of knowledge in development and hosting of web and mobile applications. The team also ensures great customer support by being available 24x7 for any of our queries.

We are quite happy with their work so far.

We have proposed our work plan for the mobile application to many vendors. Zartek covered all our points and provided us with detailed proposal for the development process and stages detailing all our application features.

The mobile application was needed to be developed for both Android and iOS platforms. The application must provide all our needs to configure our products in a user friendly manner by integrating our APIs with the mobile application.

Our team were working closely with Zartek team to provide them with our feedback at once to speed up the process and to get the best quality for our mobile application. Also, Zartek were sending beta releases so we can also report for any bugs we found and solve them quickly.

We have assigned a project manager to communicate with Zartek project manager, but in some cases Zartek developers and QA were working with our telecom team directly to check for some of application functionalities to keep the application development flows smoothly.

We have got our fully functional application within the planned time to be available on Android play store and iOS APP store.

We have created a chat group containing our team and Zartek team to stay in touch for each development updates and testing processes. The work flows perfectly between the two teams to solve any issues in the same time without delays.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Zartek gave us the best quality support for all of our application features.

Everything can always be done faster, but we were very satisfied with their work every step of the way. In the end, quality is more important than speed and we ended up with a beautiful product.

Zartek developed our web platform using the Django Python framework, and they developed the app for Android and iOS using Flutter. The web frontend was done in Angular.

We got a reference from a friend. Zartek was pretty confident about the technology, and they were able to visualize the problem.

We started working with them at the beginning of July 2018–the beginning of 2019. They continue to offer support services.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The delivery was good. There were some bugs, but they fixed them during the initial testing. The overall support was also really good, and we were pleased with their ability to explain technology to a non-tech person.

How did Zartek perform from a project management standpoint?

They assigned us a project manager, who coordinated all the work in terms of determining what extra features and bits of logic we needed to implement. The communication with him was good, and I didn’t have to communicate with the tech team.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Friends had told me to be careful with software companies, but Zartek gave me good support, and I haven't had any issues. They were particularly good at identifying UI/UX issues.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. The delivery was good.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

It’s important to provide them with a full overview of what needs to be done. I went to them with a half-baked idea, then we made some iterations on it, and it became a complete idea over the course of time. If I’d had clearer ideas, I’m sure it could have been done in three months.
