Zafitech designed and developed a digital platform for a farming and local producers' company. The team built the UI, platform architecture, multilingual functionality, user profiles, and an admin dashboard.
Zafitech successfully launched a functional platform. The client added more than 220 farmer and producer profiles and started testing the platform with real listings and users. The client received positive feedback from users. The team led structured project management and delivered on time.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the an executive and a project lead at Fuvora, a digital platform that helps farmers and local producers showcase their business and connect with consumers and professional buyers.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Zafitech?
We needed to design and develop a user-friendly, multilingual digital platform where farmers and local producers could create profiles, showcase their products, and connect with consumers and professional buyers. Our main objectives were to build a solid and scalable technical foundation, make the platform easy to manage, and prepare it for future growth across different regions and countries.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Zafitech has handled the design and development of the Fuvora platform from concept to launch. The scope has included the UI and overall platform architecture, multilingual functionality, farmer and producer profiles, product and availability listings, search and filtering features, user registration and account management, and an administrative dashboard for managing users and platform content. They’ve also ensured that the platform is responsive across desktop and mobile devices, implemented the core technical integrations, deployed the website, and provided support with testing, bug fixes, performance improvements, security, and further development after the initial launch. In addition to the development work, the Zafitech team has carried out a security audit and proactively conducted a competitor analysis to provide additional strategic insights. They’ve also reviewed the platform’s technical foundations and prepared three detailed reports: an assessment of the minimal changes required to make the MVP production-ready, recommendations for improving the MVP so it can better achieve Fuvora’s project goals, and a technical roadmap outlining the most suitable technology choices for scalability, future functionality, and long-term growth.
What is the team composition?
We’ve worked with one teammate from Zafitech.
How did you come to work with Zafitech?
We found them through a referral. We chose them over other options because they had high ratings, a great culture fit, good value for cost, and aligned company values.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in April 2026, and the engagement is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The clearest measurable outcome has been the successful development and launch of a functional Fuvora platform. The platform is now live, multilingual, responsive across desktop and mobile devices, and equipped with the core features needed to manage farmer and producer profiles, product listings, user accounts, search functionality, and platform administration.Since launch, we’ve been able to add more than 220 farmer and producer profiles and begin testing the platform with real listings and users. Zafitech has also delivered a security audit, an assessment of the changes required for a production-ready MVP, recommendations for improving the platform, and a technical roadmap for scalability and future development.These results have given Fuvora a working technical foundation, allowed us to validate the concept in practice, and made it possible to move from an initial idea to a platform that can now be tested, improved, and gradually expanded.We’re still in an early launch and validation phase, so we haven’t yet established an extensive formal KPI dashboard or generated enough transactions to report meaningful transaction volumes. However, we’re already tracking practical indicators of platform progress, including the number of farmer and producer profiles added, active product listings, user feedback, platform usage, technical issues, and the completion of planned improvements. More than 230 farmer and producer profiles have already been added to the platform, and the first real product listings have been published.Platform stability and availability are also monitored during ongoing testing, although we haven’t yet implemented formal public uptime reporting. As the user base and activity grow, we plan to track more structured KPIs such as active users, profile claims, listing activity, buyer inquiries, engagement, conversion rates, and completed connections or transactions.Early feedback from farmers, producers, and other stakeholders has been encouraging. Users particularly appreciate the idea of giving local producers greater visibility through a dedicated platform and making it easier for consumers and professional buyers to discover them. Several producers have responded positively to being included on Fuvora, while the first participants have started sharing real products and availability through the platform. Stakeholders have also recognized the broader potential of Fuvora as a tool for strengthening connections within the agricultural and local food ecosystem. The feedback has also provided valuable practical insights into areas such as onboarding, profile management, communication, and ease of use. These insights are helping us refine the platform step by step and indicate that the core concept addresses a genuine need, even though Fuvora is still in an early validation and growth phase;
How did Zafitech perform from a project management standpoint?
Zafitech’s project management was structured, transparent, and reliable throughout the Fuvora project. They communicated progress clearly, organised regular follow-up meetings, and kept us informed about completed work, upcoming priorities, and any technical decisions that needed to be made. They consistently delivered the agreed work on time and responded quickly whenever feedback, questions, or adjustments arose. Their proactive approach, accessibility, and willingness to explain matters in detail helped keep the project moving efficiently and gave us confidence throughout the development process.
What did you find most impressive about them?
What impressed us most was that Zafitech did far more than simply build the platform according to a technical specification. They genuinely thought alongside us as a strategic and creative partner, regularly challenging ideas, asking the right questions, and looking for practical ways to make Fuvora more attractive and engaging for its users. Their contribution also included thinking about user psychology, how to create a strong initial “hook,” how to validate assumptions using principles such as The Mom Test, and how to improve the platform from both a business and consumer perspective. Working with them felt like having a trusted sparring partner who was personally invested in helping the concept succeed, rather than a development team focused only on delivering features.
Are there any areas they could improve?
From our experience, there are no significant areas where Zafitech could have done better or differently. The team met our expectations in terms of communication, responsiveness, quality, strategic input, and delivery. They remained open to feedback throughout the project and were always willing to adapt when priorities or ideas evolved. As the project is still ongoing, we continue to refine the platform together, but this is part of the natural development process rather than the result of any shortcomings in their work.
