I’m the CEO and founder of Fortment Inc., an AI health solution company. We’re currently working on developing an air quality device.

We needed financial consulting.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We provided them with the financial overviews for 2018 and 2019. We wanted to make sure we had the right processes and that the financial statements look good. They were our financial advisors. They did all the accounts for that period of time. They also did the income statements, the revenue of the company, and revenue prediction.

Additionally, they identified the profitable services for areas that we can improve. This involved cost analysis about areas where we could save more money and how we could reduce costs when it came to development and expanding services.

The areas they touched, like the cost reductions and analyzing the services’ costs, really helped increase the profitability of the services and the efficiency of our projects.

How did ZAD Consulting Group perform from a project management standpoint?

They were flexible and on time. We had multiple meetings that were never limited. They knew what they were looking for and what documents they wanted. They were accurate.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They pay attention to deals in financial statements. They find other research on the industry and know the cost associated with our services as well. Their reports are well-planned.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, everything was good and helped us achieve the efficiency we were looking for.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Prepare all your statements and financials and follow what they’re asking for in terms of the information they’re looking for. They can give you the best, accurate results and reports to improve what you’re looking for.

ZAD helped us make a proper structure for expansion. They provided a hiring strategy, along with exact position requirements. They trained us on how to maintain the process of onboarding new employees, getting them engaged with the market, and keeping tasks and processes healthy.

We found them on LinkedIn. We liked that their background aligned well with a start-up, they listened to our exact requirements, and they were affordable.

We worked together from November 2019 – June 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We weren’t sure what was needed. It was difficult, but we trusted them with the process. When it came time to execute the plan, we could really see the value of the work they had done. It was exactly what we needed, and it’s working. 

How did ZAD perform from a project management standpoint?

We had a very clear communication schedule, including when meetings would take place and what the outcome goals were. They gave us a to-do list for the next phase, as well. They were very available any time we reached out to them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They invested time to figure out our specific needs rather than providing a cookie-cutter solution. They felt like part of our team and were readily available to us. They did their best to help improve our business. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Nothing comes to mind, we were happy with them.

If you’re looking for a vendor to care about your personalized issues, they are the best option.

I needed her advice on how to expand the company. We wanted to have our own media platforms to advertise with. We also wanted to create more efficient and lower the costs of operation.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We had many meetings and conference calls. He guided me by going back to the strengths and weaknesses of the company and figuring out what we want to accomplish. After that, we moved forward into creating a better work environment and procedures to do the job more efficiently and increase profitability. We started working on expansion and creating a business plan, then we introduced me to some legal workers to assist us in creating the sister company.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our whole working procedure has changed, which allowed us to save money. He brought our costs down by around 20% on a monthly basis. The new company is in the process of being created. The whole process is faster because we shifted our procedures online, which has allowed us to save so much money.

How did ZAD Consulting Group perform from a project management standpoint?

The work was all remote. We had several Zoom sessions. They were always on time.
