Based on user interviews that we had conducted, we had sketched out a rough user experience and features for our minimum viable product (MVP). We needed an agency partner to translate all our notes to design an experience with the appropriate scope for a minimum viable product and develp the entire brand design and identity.We also needed to a clickable prototype based on the new MVP and design. Additionally, we needed them to redesign our investment desk inline with brand identity.

Among other things, the company has a great organisational structure and share of responsibility, and each person had a specific role in delivering what we need, adjusting to our needs, and providing expert advice. As a client, it is difficult to say definitively whether there are any areas for improvement or things that YUMEDA studio could have done differently, as they have delivered on my basic needs. However, we have an ongoing collaboration to find a balance between creativity and practicality (e.g., website navigation and organization) based on our industry needs. We are still testing to see what works best. So far we are both learning and moving forward.

Plastico Film sought to revamp its online presence with a newly designed and implemented website. The primary objective was to better reflect the company's brand identity, showcase its product offerings, and provide a seamless user experience for clients and visitors. Key Deliverables:

• Discovery & Research Phase: Prior to the design, a comprehensive understanding of Plastico Film's target audience, product offerings, and market positioning was undertaken. This phase included competitor analysis, audience segmentation, and mapping out user journeys.

The impact of their engagement has been brilliant so far. We’ve seen a 20%–30% increase in website traffic, and our bounce rate has been cut in half. We’ve also seen increased engagement and received positive internal and external feedback.

Everything has been delivered on time and within budget.

Yumeda has done workshops for two of our cohorts. There were four online workshops in total covering the topics of Prototyping, UX/UI, Marketing and Branding. The workshops were around 2-3 hours long and included a Q&A session afterwards. Yumeda also offered individual sessions for the entrepreneurs who wanted to discuss some individual problems. Moreover, Yumeda shared the workshop materials with us afterwards and some further templates and exercises for the entrepreneurs to further deepen their knowledge on the topics discussed.

We worked directly with the Managing Director, the Creative Director and other employees from the company.

One of the main goals was to communicate the complex technology on the website in an understandable way for all relevant stakeholders. Start with user and keyword research followed by basic branding work. Structuring and design of the corporate website as well as the webshop with the help of user stories, flowcharts, wireframes and mockups.

I know the team since a long time and realized several projects. The output of the work was always excellent thats why Yumeda is my preferred choice for realizing web-projects.

We wanted to establish an expert status as neosfer on topics with regard to the digital and sustainable transformation when it comes to financial services. We have a lot of in-house knowledge and do our own research, but we needed a structured process and support to publish the content in a concise and reader-friendly format. Furthermore, we do not have any experts in SEO optimization.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We are a fast moving, agile company, and we needed a vendor that moves with the same speed. We were looking for a team with a similar working style, who is great to communicate with, we get along well and who gets our way of working. Yumeda is still a young team themselves but striving to deliver high quality and reacting fast whenever a challenge occurred, We were happy to find a vendor who has high expectations on their own work, works agile and is within our budget.

We do the content creation for our expert blogs in 4 weeks cycles. We meet for one hour to go through topics and decide on two topics, we want to dive into, often we set up a first structure of the article within this meeting. From there, yumeda starts with key word research and sets up a more detailed structure and starts writing. We are always in the loop, are informed about progress and are encouraged to share feedback etc. in a shared doc.

Once the article is written we proofread, add whatever we feel is still lacking and discuss graphics to use for the article. In the next step, yumeda designs graphics in our CI and we feed back one last time the full article. In the next step, yumeda implements the article on our homepage and supports us with graphics for social media if needed. At the end of the month we send out our newsletter which consists mainly of our articles, podcasts, events etc. and yumeda prepares the content in a neat format within a newsletter tool.

We have had various projects with yumeda but for this specific project I work mainly with the Marketing & Strategy Lead of the company. When it comes to implementation or other technical issues that may occur, I am in contact with the Managing Director himself.

Our new blog has increased organic traffic on our homepage and the newsletter opening rate a lot. Furthermore, our employees get the chance to present themselves as experts in certain fields with the support of someone who can publish content in a concise way. We receive a lot of good feedback via LinkedIn directly.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The communication is very effective and purpose-oriented. We have a set monthly, text via Slack, work on shared docs and yumeda is very easy reachable if you want to have a quick call in between.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their content writer dives deep into topics, and you get to learn more about the academic side of things when discussing topics. I believe it is a great fit for us because we get to combine our practical view and examples with academic knowledge. They are a young but very driven and motivated team. I find it inspiring to work with them and I get to learn a lot from them. They always go the extra mile to make us satisfied, and they are open to feedback.

We had some bugs on the blog's page. Some weren't shown to the public or the loading time was long. Once discussed, they fixed the bugs, and now it is running smoothly.

We had a shortlist of vendors and then decided for yumeda, because we thought they the offered the best price/performance ratio. Additionally we also work together with yumeda on our blog-section which goes hand in hand nicely.

We had a kick-off meeting and discussed our goals and linked all the relevant people (from our side, design agency and yumeda). Then our design agency provided yumeda with all relevant designs, they implemented it and we as neosfer challenged it and gave feedback.

Felix was mainly our go-to-guy throughout the process. The communication went smoothly via Slack, and changes were quickly implemented.

That shortly prior to the launch they were available 24/7 and in general, that they are nice guys to work with that get the job done.

The website performance in terms of loading times could have been better at the start, but shortly after they fixed it and now it is pretty quick.
