Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the founder and managing partner of a hybrid agency and production company. We’re focused on creating quality branded content. We do all forms of motion and still content for brands.

What challenges were you trying to address with YNot Web?

We wanted assistance with organic web traffic.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They’re providing SEO and SMM services to us. This includes page optimization and running ads. I typically write my own content, but they tell me which topics to cover and assist with keyword research.  

What is the team composition?

I work with 3–4 people including Kammy (CEO). 

How did you come to work with YNot Web?

Kammy and I met because we were both on the board of our respective city’s chapter of the Gay-Lesbian Chamber of Commerce. I met Kammy in person, and after talking to her about her company, I realized that she had everything I was looking for. She knew what she was talking about. 

How much have you invested in them?

I invest about $4,000–$5,000 per month, so I’ve spent between $48,000–$50,000 in total. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in April 2019, and our relationship is ongoing. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

YNot Web is a boutique firm and they really enjoy working with their clients. The work feels really personal. They’ve been a lifesaver. Kammy has experience. I can’t talk her up enough. 

The results I’m getting are phenomenal. I don’t have the number of leads I want yet, but that’s a function of time and money, and I’m on the right track. The leads are really high-quality. Whenever I get a new inquiry, it’s always from a real person who is a decision-maker at their company. 

How did YNot Web perform from a project management standpoint?

They provide reports, and I look at the conversion rates. I don’t have any complaints about project management. What matters to me is that I’m seeing results. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Kammy really cares about her clients, and it shows. YNot Web takes on a limited amount of clients each year so they can focus their attention and dedicate time to each client. She’s a subject matter expert. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing they could do differently for me, but they could market themselves better. However, that’s just me wanting Kammy to get more business. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers? 

Be totally honest with what you want. If you want them to beat a price, show them a competitive bid, and they’ll do their best to match it.
