They walked me through the process, and I provided updates and critiques until the end product was satisfactory.

The app isn’t live yet, but the test users say they like it and that it’s visually appealing. It’s had few bugs, but Xicom Technologies has fixed any issues that’ve popped up.

Deliverable time is always up for improvement, but they’re speedy, so it's fine. I wouldn't want to speed them up and sacrifice quality.

Midway through the project, we had to change direction. The team was extremely helpful through that process and willingly wiped our work clean so we could start fresh.

I'm the sole proprietor of a police telecommunications company called ONA Communications LLC.

What challenge were you trying to address with Xicom Technologies Ltd?

I needed a developer to create an app that could maintain active tracking between police officers and offer an instantaneous way for them to communicate handsfree. We also needed map locational features that could actively track officers and a background microphone feature for voice recognition.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

I provided Xicom the initial wireframing, which they improved upon. Using this foundation, their team developed the front- and backend of the app for Android. They configured a map tracking feature using some of Google Maps API and a voice recognition feature. The active tracking portion of the app was difficult to create because there was nothing like it on the market at the time. Unlike many other tracking features, this technology was tailored to continually provide precise coordinates within seconds to help with urgent kidnapping cases and critical injury cases. They also devised a help button that directly connects with the tracking technology, so users can easily convey their location and connect with emergency operators. They're now helping finalize the app and helping with our launch efforts.

I work with a project manager, a senior sales associate, and a senior project analyst. In total, I work with about eight of their employees in total.

Due to the size of my company, my decision primarily depended on the vendor's price. I conducted extensive research into finding the most professional and cheapest vendor with the best reviews. I was disappointed found many vendors that were asking for enormous sums of money just to discuss my idea with them. In comparison, Xicom were approachable and eager to take on my project at a reasonable price.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We're expecting to launch the app in two weeks. While we don't have any quantitative metrics, local police stations who've tested the app were impressed with its fantastic UI and professional look. Their deliverables are high-quality and easy to use.

How did Xicom Technologies Ltd perform from a project management standpoint?

Our original junior project manager was bad, but their senior project manager noticed what was going on and cut ties with him. We didn't have to deal with him for too long and every other person that I dealt with since then has been excellent.

They assigned a second project manager, who was great but left their company due to a family emergency. Then, they quickly assigned another manager, who has been fantastic thus far. We use Dropbox to store our resources and discuss major project plans through email. We use Skype for daily personal communication. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They're a smaller company but can tackle difficult problems. The map tracking and voice recognition integration would be a challenge for a big company—let alone Xicom; Their ability to deliver creative solutions, no matter the size, is impressive.

The point of contact was the project manager, who is actively responsive to all our modifications or queries. During the testing time, there are a lot of new modifications from our side but at the same time team show professionalism. Well behaved and deliver the item on time.

We literally have no idea about how the app development process went through. Initially, the blueprint shared by the Xicom team was the first workflow chart through which they were gone. In a very gentle way, they explain the development process and coordinate all the major decisions. Their commitment to the project was unbeatable and very impressive.

About the app development, they guys did great work. We generate a good number of new users with the app and it increasing rapidly. The UI is much appreciated by the users and our team members also. Keep doing the good work.

With the project manager, there are 3 more people who worked on the project with us. The senior developer and the project manager are most the interacted with us and implement the discussion points with their team.

The project took 1 week time as per discussed the delivery time. 1-week a delay but worth its response. After a successful testing process, the app launched in the market and we get a very genuine response from the users. Also, we get good leads from the app. UI was awesome and very much satisfactory.

Very much professional and humble interaction with the team. Our POC guides us and updates us through all the major changes or decisions. The project was a 1-week delay as per the deadlines but it was worth it when we get a response from the users.

We searched online for many vendors to fix the issues, and some of them matched our expectations but after a period of time, they left the things behind due to the high charge rate. We were disappointed with the unprofessional behaviors of the vendors to leave the project just because of charges as per the project.

In the search process, we interacted with Xicom Technologies and finalize them. The tuning between us matched and we decided to proceed together. The deciding factors are the information gathered by them, the team coordination, and their blueprint or roadmap strategy.

We always prioritize our customers and we want the customers can easily interact with us through our app. Meanwhile, everyone prefers an app instead of using a website. So we plan to develop our app for a better user experience. The project manager Mr. Karan interact with us and deliver a time frame with a proper roadmap for the app development. We were very much satisfied with the working plans suggested by the team Xicom.

Mr. Karan a project manager directly interacted with us and their team of developers (3 people) was also in the loop while interacting. A very professional behavior was shown by the team every time they responded to our queries and all the modification or changes done by them.

Before the deadlines, they deliver the project to us and after launching there is complete support towards the maintenance and other modifications. The response is not as per the exceptions but the over a period of time there is an increase in revenue and customer love to use the app.

Most of the time the interaction is only with the project manager and only they convey the message to the team. Healthy communication between the team and the project manager.

Every time back of our mind, there are deadlines and we were in hurry to launch the app in the market because we already spent a lot of time. They understood our requirements and delivered the project within the given timeframe. This one is the most impressive thing about the team.

Not actually, as per we share the feedback in our case it was a very smooth process and over the period of time, we definitely will work with the Xicom in future for other projects.
