I'm the founder and director of marketing of Red Sports Marketing, a shirt printing and design manufacturer based in Klang. Our product range includes T-Shirt printing, T-Shirt designing, sublimation T-Shirt, sports T-Shirt, uniform printing & design, t-shirt & uniform embroidery, vest & safety vest, etc.

All these 20+ years of operation, we were mainly in traditional marketing. Red Sports engaged Shock Media Studio to penetrate the digital market.

What were your goals for this project?

To capture a bigger market share in our industry by reaching out to our target market via both traditional and online marketing. As the world is converging into digital, businesses would be left out if staying out of digital.

From the first phase of engagement, Shock Media Studio developed a website for Red Sports Marketing. That involves understanding our nature of business and capturing all the required visuals, copywriting, etc that we provided to Shock Media Studio in order for them to build the website.

Upon completion of the website, Shock Media Studio would proceed to do the Google SEO that would help our website to rank in Google.

We'd been working with the consultant that convinced us to proceed with Shock Media Studio. In addition, also communicated with their website technical support for our website editing.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Red Sports is happy with the website and look forward to the Google ranking as we understand from our consultant that the website is new and Google require some time to pick up.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Our consultant had made it clear upfront that they have 2 types of website packages. We selected the premium theme package for our website which we find it good enough for us at the rate we budgeted. Shock Media Studio also shared the timeline and progress. Hiccups happens but nothing major.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The professionalism of their team. Especially the technical website team. They are super responsive and reverted with the solution within 24 hours everything we face issues with our website.

Most things are good. Happy with their service.

As a new e-commerce store, I didn't know how to do marketing online. It is very scary to start therefore I sought my friend's advice and got recommended to this.

After speaking to them, they analyzed the situation and suggested that facebook marketing with the intention of performance would be the best strategy.

They would advice the angle of the ads, setup the advertising on facebook on my behalf and give me a monthly report.

Primarily working with the salesperson. If I understand correctly, the salesperson would work with their own team and then advice me accordingly. Do speak to the internal team during the preliminary where they advice me. After that, most of the time with salesperson. Only occasionally with the internal team.

My ecommerce is getting an average of 4 to 7 times the amount I spent on the advertising cost. During offer, promotion and peak period, it goes up to as high as 18 times.

Everything is good. Their salesperson is responsive, and expectations are clear. There is a lot of partnership work together.

We were looking for digital marketing agencies in Selangor area. There were some agencies closer to us, but we were not convinced by their level of expertise. We found Shock Media by searching Google, they rank pretty high which is a good indication of a company that knows what they are doing.

Upon completion of that, a solution that is tailored to our objective & result is formulated to ensure the target it hit. Upon brainstorming and discussion, the strategy revolves around resource management to focus on strategy that achieve the highest ROI then the 2nd best ROI and such.

In that matter, Facebook looked like was the first choice as we have a database our clients. The plan be done holistically with Facebook retargeting, etc. Can't review the strategy in details but the resource planning according to the strategy ROI is great!

Reporting is not as comprehensive as some of the other agencies that we have worked with. But having said that, I can't complain much because our focus is more on results and they more than deliver on that.
