We hired Xantrion to handle day to day end-user and endpoint support, augment our internal IT team, strengthen IT security, support and monitor our internal technology infrastructure, plus support cloud services and infrastructure modernization. We needed support in these areas over several geographically distributed park sites in light of nonprofit budget constraints and a lean internal IT team. This ongoing relationship began over 15 years ago.

Xantrion delivered significant improvements to our organization’s IT environment by implementing industry-proven cybersecurity measures that strengthened the protection of end users, systems, and sensitive information. Their proactive approach reduced operational downtime, resulting in greater business continuity and improved productivity across the company. In addition, Xantrion enhanced the reliability and redundancy of our data access by successfully migrating key systems and services to the cloud, providing a more resilient and scalable IT infrastructure.

Throughout the project, Xantrion maintained a careful balance between preserving data security and keeping the project on schedule, ensuring both operational continuity and the protection of critical business information.

Rather than waiting for problems to surface, their team identifies risks early and takes action before those issues can disrupt our business. This disciplined, forward-looking strategy has strengthened the reliability of our systems while also improving the overall security of our technology environment.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Xantrion could have done differently?

Like many long-term managed service relationships, continued improvement around documentation, proactive roadmap visibility, and clearer ownership between internal IT and the MSP would make the partnership even stronger.

Xantrion also handles hardware procurement and deployment, administering software licenses and data backup solutions, and performing periodic project-based work such as system migrations and upgrades.

Xantrion’s proactive IT management is a refreshingly rare change from the usual “wait for something to break” routine. Instead of reacting to problems after they disrupt operations, they identify likely risks early and resolve them before they turn into incidents. That forward-looking approach has noticeably improved both system reliability and our security posture. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something Xantrion could have done differently?

The only real opportunity for improvement was during the initial identity-monitoring setup, which took longer than expected to fine-tune to our exact requirements. That said, Xantrion stayed on it—quickly iterating through adjustments, tightening configurations, and responding promptly to feedback. As a result, the service is now stable, reliable, and well-aligned to our needs, and their persistence throughout the rollout ultimately delivered a strong, effective outcome.

Office downsize forced a relocation of server room and internet/network hardware and renegotiating contracts with service providers. Remodel required new hardware installation, wiring, network access, installation of new desktop equipment and troubleshooting. Also provided ewaste services for retiring equipment/hardware.

All services are in working order; we are 100% cloud based; users can connect seamlessly when working in office; all contracts have been updated/renegotiated; positive feedback from employees on the state of the office and technology upgrades
