Wisdom Infosoft is providing us with ongoing custom software development for our CRM apps, including several project management software.

They’re mainly responsible for wireframing, system architecture, database management, and coding language application such as Node.js and Angular.

Our main point of contact is Gurpal (CEO), but he also has two coders working on this project.

Our ongoing partnership started in August 2016.

It took us a while to get on the same page but they’ve since communicated better and conveyed their deliverables accurately once we aligned our vision.

They perform well from a project management standpoint as they’re very transparent when it comes to communicating problems with the project.

We’re impressed with their attentiveness, reliability, and software development consistency.

Wisdom InfoSoft built and developed our website from scratch. We initially provided them with the requirements and they utilized them to deliver a fully-functioning product.

We invested somewhere between $50,000–$60,000 CAD (approximately $39,400–47,200 USD).

We worked together from November 2017–March 2018.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Wisdom InfoSoft was able to deliver a comprehensive platform that enables us to provide our service and information to our customers.

The website has improved our client’s experience when navigating the site's different features and our performance on Google Analytics is growing on a monthly basis, garnering good traffic and more business.

How did Wisdom InfoSoft perform from a project management standpoint?

Wisdom InfoSoft was able to accomplish their tasks while adhering to our tight deadlines and budget. We used JIRA as our main project management tool and we mostly communicated through Skype.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We were impressed with how easily they understood our requirements and deliver a product that was up to our expectations. We also liked their communication skills and their team was technically diverse.

I’m the founder of KashWork, a marketplace platform where people can buy and sell products as well as post jobs and services.

What challenge were you trying to address with Wisdom Infosoft?

I had an idea for my platform but didn’t know how to implement it, so I hired Wisdom InfoSoft to build it for me.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We had a lot of Skype calls for the first few days. I provided Wisdom InfoSoft with my ideas, and they built an HTML design around that. Once they matched my requirements, they presented their work to me for approval. 

Wisdom InfoSoft then went into the front- and backend development of my web platform. Because there are various product and service categories on it, their team also integrated Elasticsearch in Python. I wanted my platform to be different from other similar sites by having a free posting functionality, so their team took care of that as well. They also built in a feature that allows users to see somebody else’s job and work availability. 

What is the team composition?

They have three QA, two frontend developers, two backend AP developers, and two designers. They’re able to add more people or reduce the team size as needed.

How did you come to work with Wisdom Infosoft?

I did some online research, but friends of mine who had already used Wisdom’s services recommended them. I checked their reviews and past work and met with their team. I really liked that they were flexible and offshore, so I hired them. 

How much have you invested with them?

I’ve spent $75,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together in April 2020 and our partnership is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The site works well. When bugs arise, we can document them and have Wisdom Infosoft make the fixes very quickly. The team’s development skills are very good, and they’re flexible enough to make modifications to the site according to our change requests.

How did Wisdom Infosoft perform from a project management standpoint?

The team’s communication skills are very good. They always set up proper meetings, deliver on time, and work on weekends when I need them to. Overall, they’re very good with project management. We use Skype and WhatsApp.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I appreciate that Wisdom Intosoft helps us with extra stuff. For instance, they found me a company in India that could do all of my marketing, advertising, and SEO.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Nothing stands out, but they will need to bring in good app developers since I want to start with app development

They're the perfect team to go to for development and design. They have really good people at Wisdom InfoSoft.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the owner of a web app development firm. We create applications leveraging AI and Machine learning models.

For what projects/services did your company hire Wisdom InfoSoft, and what were your goals?

We hired this team for full-stack development. We create innovative solutions and are always on the lookout for a talented full-stack development team that can make things easier for us to execute our vision. This was the goal behind hiring this team.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We shortlisted several teams all over the world on Upwork and ended up finalizing this team.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

We usually create a full spec doc to explain what we need. After we had shared the specs and agreed on a price, we kicked off development with this team. We hired them to develop mainly in PHP (Laravel) however we also needed to use some JS for our project and this team seemed to be proficient in both these technologies. This being a full-stack job, it also meant they had to manage our AWS servers along with auto-scaling.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

The project manager was our main contact point and 3 full-stack developers were deployed on our projects.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After launching the product, we received a ton of positive feedback and we are on a path to grow 2x in the coming few months.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We used Google product extensively to manage our projects and we kept touching base with each other daily via Skype.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I loved their consistency and how they showed up when needed. We had a situation where we had our servers acting up and the team worked beyond their official hours to bring the servers back up.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There is little to no improvement needed. The only improvement I can think of is not changing the developers often would help as we have to explain the entire working to the new developer if the previous one leaves the project. So if they could retain at least 1 developer for a long period of time, it would make things even easier for us. Having said that, we don't have much of an issue about this either.
